Quite e delicious chopped brisket sandwich. I was on the go and needed a quick lunch. Drove by this spot and hung a U-turn to check it out. Three people in line ahead of me. Several regulars and another customer trying it out for the first time. The kids working the counter were very friendly and efficient. The man on the knife at the cutting board did a brilliant job of cutting and chopping the perfect ratio of bark, lean and fat meat into a handful to build my sandwich. Fabulous smoke flavor on the beef that was moist enough it didn’t even need the sauce. Although I found the “original” sauce too good to pass up after I tasted it I had to add to the sandwich. A perfect balance of acidity, sweetness and spicy heat. Highly recommended. I want to go back to try the whole menu. Especially the baked potato that looks incredible.
I LUV a good baked potato! When I opened the container, I went whoa, it was huge! Baked just right, perfect temperature, perfect amount of butter, sour cream, and cheese on it. Had a little trouble finishing it so my husband helped.
My husband had a small chopped beef sandwich, that was great. Nice to have a choice of a small sandwich, for a small appetite. Prices extremely reasonable. Will be back.
The service was fine, greeted when I walked in and the potato was huge and they don't skimp on the brisket! If I'm gonna pay $16 for a baked potato, this is the one for sure and you can walk right up and see the smoker doing it's thing. If you're in town come by and support this business for sure.
My experience was a to go experience. The menu was self-explanatory wasn't too busy when I walked in. I ordered a two meat plate that had sliced brisket and ribs with Mac and cheese and ranch beans. The ranch beans were on point. Really wasn't too thrilled on the Mac and cheese because the ranch beans tasted good. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the brisket was juicy. Everyone behind the counter was courteous.
The owner handed me this banana pudding with a straight face! I literally paid for old, disgusting looking banana pudding. The barbecue might be good but for heaven’s sakes…….Please stop baking!!! It’s a complete disaster. I wasted my hard earned money on this trash! This looks like someone vomited it up - Never again!
Food was old, disgusting and overpriced. I paid over $17 for this two meat plate with over cooked sausage and brisket and the corn…. Man I have never seen corn so brown in my life!
For a family of 4 we spent $70 we got a 2IB family meal (we chopped up brisket and made our own brisket sandwiches at home) sausage, mac and cheese and ranch beans! Oh and let me not forget the BAKED POTATO!! When I say I don’t regret spending that much for food I mean it LOL it was delicious! We still had so much food left. 100% recommend
The potato came with no cheese, barely any sour cream, and overly saturated with butter.
I requested extra cheese but nothing. This was not good.
