Amazing food, portions and prices! Our server Amanda was top notch and the atmosphere was just fantastic...update 12/19/20 outdoor seating in freezing temps was very nice with the fire pit! Food always amazing and great server as well!
I hadn't been here in yrs. As a treat for my birthday my BF took me here. Our food was amazing. I got their Angelhair Florentine (chicken, shrimps, porta bella mushrooms, spinich) & he got veal parmesan. Each came w/ a house salad & the best bar none warm homemade bread rolls w/ garlic dipping oil. WOW!!!! I'm speechless how good it all was.
We were treated so wonderfully from the moment we walked in the doors. We didn't have reservations. Honestly didn't know. It's been yrs since I was there. The hostess was the best & snuck us in after only waiting around 15 minutes. Waitress was so very kind. Making sure we were happy.
Thnx again. See you again. Next time we'll be sure to make reservations.
Excellent food and service. BYOB, so make sure you grab bottle on the way. (Sheetz around the corner has beer and a couple of OK bottles of wine.) Food was crazy hot. Shrimp was cooked to tenderness and not overdone. Very happy with this place, and the prices were reasonable to boot.
Love this place! It's truly the best place for fine dining. The staff at A Ca Mia are extremely helpful. The food is so delicious & plentiful no matter what you pick. You are welcome to bring BYOB which is nice. Eating at this Italian restaurant it's an amazing family feeling. Leave room for desert each one on the tray look so tempting delicious.
This is literally the best food I've ever had. We started with the lamb appetizer and fried mozzarella appetizer. The lamb was to die for! The mozzarella was good too but that lamb whoa! Then I had a special scallops a ca mia and my husband had a dish with short ribs but I don't remember what it was called. They were both amazing!!
Only giving this place 2 stars ~ because the desserts were fantastic & the server was nice! In the past this place was very good. Last was there 2020 & in the middle of a pandemic it was still good so not sure what is going on now. And with a Marginal increase of 10% added to the final amt. due - this just was not worth it. I do know that Chef. Paulo was not there that day cooking so it was the other Chef Eric. The seafood combination over angel hair was dreadful. Bland, watery - yet over flowing with too much sauce, its like they didn't even use 1 spice in it, I didn't taste garlic, salt , basil nothing. It was like the consistency of canned spagettio- 0s but that even has more flavor. Lots of seafood in it yet tasted like cardboard. The calamari was like hard rubber circles. The salad was fresh but don't get the gorgonzola dressing - again very watery and bland no taste. 2 people had it at our table and the same result. The fillet is done rare with lots of extra liquid - so unless u like it that way don't order it. The coffee was burnt tasting and stale. U have to ask for salt and pepper - they really don't want to set it out - apparently people are stealing it lol - The men's bathroom toilet clogs. U can't sit outside because they are short staffed they have a very nice tent like thing up and I don't understand why they could not walk 2 feet to bring out food. The front desk clerk is not very friendly. Asked for extra napkins 3 times , they finally come out at dessert time and half were dirty. There are so many Italian places in the lehigh valley that aren't even this expensive and are way above in taste. This was an unmemorable experience when it used to be top notch. And it was for a friends birthday dinner. One more thing when you call to make a reservation you may be put on hold 15 min. or more - I had to hang up and call back again - and that front desk clerk - kind of nasty as I said above. Also we felt a little rushed - even tho it wasn't super crowded - This was sunday afternoon. A staff member kept circling our table like a shark trying to grab at our plates while we were eating maybe was a busgirl/boy .
Not bad. Most of what we ordered was good. Some was just normal food you can get at any Italian restaurant and it's just as good.
Easily one of the best places to eat in the Lehigh Valley. Seriously...if you haven't eaten Chef Paolo's generous portions of outstanding Italian cuisine, pick up your phone and make reservation right now. If you go, be sure to check out the list of specials and feel free to BYOB (wine/Champaign). Family friendly with an extensive menu full of traditional Italian favorites all exquisitely prepared, A Ca Mia never disappoints.
