Best WLM Reviews
A&B Lobster House came highly recommended by some foodie friends from Houston, and it did not disappoint. The lobster was the highlight of the evening—extremely fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every dish was executed with care, from the tender filet mignon to the buttery lobster tail. One detail that stood out was the lobster tail option on the kids' menu, which is a unique touch that our children enjoyed. The attentive service and upscale atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it a memorable night. A&B Lobster House exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be returning on future visits.
The place is great and the staff was super attentive! The tacos and the fish BLT were great, but the lobster roll was lacking some flavor. The conch fritters were amazing! The restaurant itself was pretty cute on the inside, and the view next to the pier is really nice. Perfect place to walk around after
We dined here on our first wedding anniversary night. My husband and I opted to stop first at the speakeasy attached to the restaurant for some pre-dinner drinks, which were amazing. We were able to walk right through to the restaurant when it was time for our reservation. Our table was outside with a beautiful view of the marina. We started with yummy bread and the Oysters Rockefeller. I ordered the Caribbean Lobster Risotto, which was very generous with the lobster chunks and had a mouth-watering truffle taste in each bite. My husband ordered the Caribbean Lobster "Oscar". The topping was very good, although he said the lobster was a bit overdone. The coconut rice added as an excellent pairing. No room for dessert. Our waiter was very attentive. Overall a very enjoyable night with excellent food and service.
Most memorable culinary and social experience in the middle of Key West, old town, harbor area. The upscale restaurant features a very elegant bar area separated from the restaurant. The menu choices make the food selection difficult. The staff is professional and pleasant. Kudos to Michelle, our waitress, for her calm and pleasant demeanor. At no time we felt hurried or pressured. Highly recommended for those looking for an extra nice place for a special occasion or simply for those who like upscale dining from time to time.
This place is a yes!
They start with warm bread and butter. They give you a lot, so watch your intake so you're still hungry for dinner.
Started with oysters with creme fresh and caviar. First time trying them this way and have to admit it is now my favorite way to eat oysters. Sweet, creamy, salty, perfect!
The surf and turf was great. Steak was a perfect medium rare. Seasoned well and deliciously tender. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were a brilliant addition and added both flavors and textures to the dish. My lobster was a little overcooked with a slight toughness to it, which is why there are only 4 stars.
King crab legs were amazing!! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portion size was spot on. These were on par with crab we recently had in Alaska, although the price per pound was 50% more here. Still felt the value was worth it.
Wine prices here are also significantly higher than I'm used to in California, some being 3X expected pricing, but getting California wines to Key West may be costly. We ordered a Napa Cab and we're happy with the choice.
Service was impeccable.
My husband and I had such an amazing meal we decided that it was our anniversary dinner a month before our anniversary!!! Michelle was our server. So sweet and informative. She made sure our questions regarding my celiac needs were addressed.
The oysters Rockefeller, OMG, so good!!!. I had surf and turf. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the steak was sweet perfection! My husband had the Special - yellow tail which was so good. Our dessert, bananas foster was spilt between my gluten needs and my husband. The split was perfect, and it was so great to have a desert that was different than vanilla ice cream or creme Brule. This was an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you Michelle. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!
Felt a little fancy this night and wanted some lobster to close our trip. The bread and butter were delicious, and the butter came out in an A&B shape. Super cute. The lobster bisque was good but not my all-time favorite. It's a little too thick for my liking. I got the lobster and mushroom risotto for my entree, and it was okay. It wasn’t my favorite. I felt it could have used some more flavor. I didn’t finish the dish since I wasn’t enjoying it. I might have preferred the steak after tasting my sister's dish. Overall, the service was great. I will just order something else next time.
A&B Lobster House in Key West offers a delightful dining experience with a picturesque outdoor setting. My meal began with a shared pear salad and oysters Rockefeller. The pear salad was fresh and well-balanced, offering a refreshing start to the meal. The oysters Rockefeller were rich and flavorful, perfectly cooked and seasoned.
For the main course, I had the grouper. While the flavor was commendable, the fish was slightly overcooked, which took away from its overall quality. However, this was a minor setback in an otherwise enjoyable meal.
The meal concluded with the house special dessert: espresso cheesecake. This dessert was a standout, offering a creamy texture and rich espresso flavor that was simply irresistible. The martini I had was also excellent, perfectly crafted and complementing the meal wonderfully.
Adding to the experience were the stunning views outside, making for a memorable evening. Despite the slight issue with the grouper, A&B Lobster House provided a great dining experience with excellent service and ambiance.
