This place is great! We were from out of town staying at the spa next door and decided to try it for dinner. We really enjoyed the chile relleno that we went again for lunch the next day. Service was friendly and prompt. They also had a drive thru, which was nice since we went on the way out the next day. The green chile cheese fries were also a favorite ???? wish we could have tried more items, but we will try to come back again!
wonderful food! we ate double cheese burger and a bacon cheeseburger with all the toppings... absolutely delicious! The burgers reminded us of five guys burgers, but way less grease and half the price. The malts were a slight disappointment because we couldn't taste the malt flavoring, but otherwise 10 out of 10 for the experience overall. We are definitely going back the next time we are in truth or consequences.
This is an old fashioned diner type place, walk up and order at the window, all orders packed to go. There are picnic tables under the canopy if you want to eat there. The green chile cheeseburger was perfect, as was the chimichanga. The place is almost always busy! I see just as many locals stop in as tourists, speaks well to the prices and consistency. We take at least one meal here every time we come to T or C.
Food is good, nothing great. They have a large menu, so if options are important then check them out! Chile isn’t their specialty, but the Chimichangas are on point. If greasy (in a good way) is what you’re going for and craving then you’re at the right place! It’s a fun place to sit outside with friends and family and enjoy your food and ice cream! Their malts are the best, can’t say much about the other sweet treats. The service not so great, or friendly, but they are always busy and focused on getting orders out quick. Prices are fair. If you’re in a rush then I recommend stopping in or going through the drive through.
It was suggested to me by a biker that I ran into at the lake that I should try out this place. Oh my goodness! I'm so glad I did. I had the BBQ sandwich. Simply amazing! Had an Hortchata, too, which was pretty good. Seems like a simple little place from the outside (I just ate in my car). But there are outdoor tables available. I don't know if there's indoor seating or not, but like I said, I ate in my car. It was beautiful weather today. Hey, if you're ever in TorC, try this place out!
Wonderful people, the food was great a my favorites were the breakfast burrito and the chicken burrito with red chillies. Pricing is great the whole atmosphere makes you feel like you're sitting back in time and getting a really good meal!
We were in town for the weekend and excited to try this place as it was highly recommended. We stood in line only to have the person at the counter shut the order window and put up a sign that said, “sorry we are closed.” He didn’t say a word to us or the other couple in line in front of us. Just shut the window with no explanation. It was 6pm on a Saturday and their hours said they were open till 8pm. Would have loved to try this place but service this day was definitely lacking.
Excellent excellent small town diner great milkshakes and of course the chimichangas are excellent. Also had the green chili cheeseburger. Double very good. I would highly recommend coming here two or three times to try their different menu items.
it is a drive-through old school with outside seating. The service is slow as you would expect because there’s a few people in there working very hard to make food fresh to order. There’s nothing plastic about what they make. It’s made with love. I’m really grateful the owners keep up their tradition that has probably been going for decades .
The extra large milkshake will send you into a coma????????????????
