We used to love coming here to eat, well.... not any more! Tonight will be the LAST time we order there! I called them to let them know our order was completely wrong, and the manager asked what was the matter. I explained I ordered my burger to be well done w/Swiss cheese, onions grilled BLACK, and lettuce. NO BUN because I can't eat gluten!! With onions rings WELL DONE, I was giving them to my husband as I can't eat them either! My burger was NOT WELL DONE, IT WAS ON A BUN, AND THE ONIONS WERE NOT COOKED HARDLY AT ALL! My husband was supposed to have bacon, but apparently, they forgot that as well. The person taking my order had me to repeat it at least 4 times! When I asked for a refund, the manager said she would talk to her manager tomorrow morning and her manager would call me. We'll after I cooked the onions rings in the air fryer for my husband, my hamburger in the air fryer WITHOUT a bun. We ate, as we were eating, well my husband had just finished his, the same manager who said her manager would call me TOMORROW!! She calls & says if I bring back the food they could give us our money back!! We guess what, folks, when you haven't eaten since breakfast, you don't sit around & think, umm, maybe they'll call me back so I shouldn't eat this food. You eat after you recook it so you can actually enjoy it some what!! This place has gone downhill bad!!!
18.00 for a burger with no mustard or mayo, upgraded for the steak fries & salad like most the salad came with 2 tomatoes and one slice of cucumber and salad dressing packets.. soda I had was a Pepsi and on the flatter side.. while I love mom and pop truck stops this one won’t be one of them.. someone needs to buy this place out and make it great again.. I imagine in its prime hay day it was an amazing place but not anymore
Just happened to stop cause needed break and wash hungry. People were very nice and the food was good glad I stopped. Not fancy but quiet and pieceful I'll take that over fancy any day. Do have truck shop
Got there thinking we would be there awhile ordered the spaghetti with a salad -tea- lemonade. We got the salad and got a phone call so we had to leave immediately. I wish I would of gotten the beautifully aged waitress's name - but she was AMAZING!! She rushed to make sure we were able to leave immediately with food in containers- drinks also. The spaghetti was delicious and the salad was big and very fresh. Highly recommend if I'm the area- definitely worth the stop!!
Not new and Shiney but better than loves. Quiet lot no announcement speaker and bells all night. Easy parking plenty of space. The restaurant has limited hours but is very good. C store has everything you need. Also has a shop and trailer washout.
10 stars if I could, true truck stop. Bad reviews must be the sissies we have out here today trucking. If you don’t think this place is a peice of American trucking nostalgia I don’t know what to say. Huge paved lot, restaurant open early and closes late, well stocked store with lights, plugs, tools etc if you are in a bind, also a shop on site. I’d spend my money here even if they charged $5 more for everything then a major chain does. Keep places like this in business!
This place has awesome staff decent prices on their food great food and just an old school environment.... You drivers need to quit messing the place up. I don't know who did it because I didn't take a picture of your truck but this is nasty. Knock it off people. I think this place should charge a minimum $10 parking to keep you guys out of here. The truck lot was full last night with well over a hundred trucks. There may have been 10 people in for breakfast. This place should have been hopping this morning. This is why the mom and pops are dying. There is zero support from the industry that they cater to. Go in and spend a couple dollars.
Average truck stop in middle of nowhere, in past there use to be available parking at any time of day but for some time already it gets packed by 6-7pm...store stocked decently, food in restaurant 5/10 by my opinion (seen worse - had much better).
