Forgoing how our order was taken over the phone, 2 hours later (with no call to us, us calling to check in and a vague response of "we had problems") we finally received our order. No Buffalo sauce that we ordered for the wings, burnt cheesy garlic bread, soggy fries (we were celebrating our honeymoon 2 blocks away, ordered from here because it should've been quick. No reason for the fries to get soggy that quick). The pizza was good. If you're starving, it works.
Been frequenting A1 for over 20 years.
I appreciate their consistency and dedication to local neighbors.
Their friendly attitudes are very welcoming.
My dog gets excited to visit and be on the receiving end of a meatball and a back rub.

Incredibly disappointing food. No one I was with could finish what they got. My mom got some pasta that she ate two bites of. Somehow it was both dry and mushy at the same time. The onion rings tasted like they were fried in old grease, and my brother got claim chowder which had him feeling a little uneasy for a couple days. Overall just a bad experience.
The food is way over priced. And if you’re ordering for delivery expect them to be 20-30min late almost all the time. They had this fat guy who owned a white pick up truck. He was extremely weird and he would just sit outside your house sometimes. Come to find out he was a registered sex offender. The food is great but not really worth the baggage. Go to pizza Hollywood. Same great food and just a little cheaper. They’re fast with delivery and the staff is great
Some of the best pizza in the area. Golden bubbly crust, very light sauce, and cheese that's chewy and lacey. A great alternative to NY style if you want something different.
Gyro was okay. Meat was too mushy and too abundant, but otherwise a good value if you don't mind either. Tzatziki didn't have much flavor.
Definitely come here for the pizza, but with so many options there's a lot to explore here. I'd try the gyro again if I could ask for less meat that was cooked further.
First time trying greek style pizza. It was delicious ???? I would come back again. Friendly staff, good flavor, crunchy, and soft crust. Very good!!!
Honestly it’s sad to write this but A1 pizza has gone way down. I wanted to support them for a late night meal after folk fest. Ordered online on our way and was quoted 35 minutes on the order. Food took almost an hour. We awkwardly had to wait while we listened to the guys in the kitchen blaming each other for not getting the ticket for the sandwich of our order and it not being cooked. Seemed super disorganized and was frustrating to have to wait and also listen to the blame game. The food was ok but honestly the dysfunction of the restaurant and lateness of the order really ruined it for me.
Paid almost 16 bucks for this. Less than half a pound of boneless buffalo chicken wings, clearly reheated in the same tin foil with buffalo sauce barely drizzled on. Last time getting food here. They used to have great food but something changed the past few years. Not sure if they changed owners.
