It is a very big place plenty of seating. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. My Brisket sandwich was very good the fries are good and we had fried pickles. Large portions and very good! They also have a board with already paid for meals for anyone who is hungry but low on cash very nice pay it forward idea!
The food was unbelievable!! At one point I thought I was going to have to eat the brisket with a spoon because it was so tender it was falling off my fork! Their homemade sauce was perfect, not too sweet, not too spicy. Our server was attentive without being annoying. There was a corn hole tournament going on, but it wasn't loud or interrupting our dinner in any way. I will definitely be back.
Start with the positive… decorated for Halloween, very creative and lots to look at. Iced coffee flight was creative very nice looking but was disgusting. The place was not busy. Many empty tables. Did not get greeted at the door. Took 5+ minutes to be greeted by anyone. Not ok for a half empty restaurant. Drinks came fast. Menu very detailed. Sausage gravy not house made waitress confirmed it’s from a can. I should have walked out then and there. Food took 25 minutes to come out and everything was cold. From the hash browns to the brisket tacos it was all cold. No clue how long it was sitting on the window. My motto “you don’t know unless you try it”. Well I definitely know now we will not be coming back. I think it’s time to go back to basics for this restaurant.
Great service overall! From the friendly staff greeting customers as they entered to the attentive waiters keeping glasses full. The college sports on the tvs added to the laid back early evening meal. The food was fantastic, with short wait times for our order and excellent portions, we are eager to come back. I recommend the Brisket burger ????.
Tonight we went for a family dinner. We came in looked like slow night. Our waitress at first was good. Then we finally ordered. I ordered a pre drink before dinner… We didn’t see her to till the food came out. The drink was not made right at and twenty minutes late. My burger was an avocado burger that had NO avocado!? We had no silver wear when we asked for some she brought one set. There was four of us. We didn’t have napkins till we finished our food. She never checked in or asked us if we were good. Even the entertainer they had knew we were upset. This is the worst experience I have had in a long come. Compared to Brunswick this was horrible. We will not be back.
Not one to complain to get free food but was worth saying after a $50 bill for 2 for breakfast. The blame falls mostly on the kitchen as we were second table sat of the day.
Grizzly skillet was plentiful of meat but was not even warmed enough to even remotely melt the shredded cheese set over diced potatoes done in the deep fryer. I ordered a side of biscuits and hollandaise sauce which was even more disappointing! Biscuits are pulled from freezer and warmed. they Crumbled into nothing when I tried opening in half and top crust was flaking off (signs of frozen and thaw process). Hollandaise was like pudding consistency and overly salty. I know it was an instant sauce mix but was like it was leftover and tried to warm in microwave without breaking the sauce because it also barely had the chill out of the sauce. Wife ordered breakfast quesodilla that was ok and the french toast bites. Bites came with no cinnamon and sugar and overly dressed with their "icing" of cream cheese whipped with 1/2 & 1/2. Was palso a disappointment.
Tipped the girl well as she was only one serving the 7 tables by time we left and was on top of thing. Not likely to return which is sad because we like non chain breakfast places. Rather drive to marshalville and go to gigis diner
Not a very busy evening so sat at the bar where there were just a few people. Dinning room not very busy either... (Trivia Night starting soon). Ordered a beer and a Pulled Pork sandwich. Bartender was quick with the beer and took my food order a few minutes later. Although the Pulled Pork sandwich was good it took close to 40 minutes for it to come out of the kitchen. Served on Texas Toast instead of a Brioche bun??? To my satisfaction the Bartender was quick to bring a bun... Fries were over cooked and dry. Don't know if the oil was old or perhaps they have been sitting under a heat lamp for a couple of hours or just simply over cooked??? Either way they should not have been plated... Pulled pork, sauce, bun and service were good. Kitchen not so good...????????
Amazing food, friendly staff. Huge chicken sandwich. Love the sweet potato fries with hot honey.
