Best WLM Reviews

If you're looking for a steak, it's not worth it here. However, the rest of the food ordered was great. They make a great burger! Apps are very "frozen food" type. Great service! Our server was super kind! Left a great tip for her. Employees 5 stars, the food? Meh.
Someone in a dying party got the exact same hamburger as I did. It was the Vermont Cheddar burger. My burger was supposed to be medium rare and it was more like medium well and I would have said something to the waitress but she never really came back to the table. The other person and party enjoyed their burger and said it was very tasty. Mine had no flavor.
Karen sat us at the out table and was super nice. Taylor was our server and took our orders correctly, came back to check in and was super helpful. The kitchen made our food quick and everything came out with what we asked for. Definitely would go back
I recently visited 99 Restaurants and had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we noticed a strange strong odor (maybe coming from a nearby restroom). When we politely asked the waitress if we could be seated in a different section, she responded rudely and suggested that maybe we should go elsewhere. This response was completely unacceptable and left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
As minorities, this experience was particularly disheartening. It felt as though we were being discriminated against, which is something no customer should ever have to endure. The waitress’s behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. We came to enjoy a meal and instead left feeling marginalized and unwelcome.
I hope the management of 99 Restaurants takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue promptly. No customer should be made to feel the way we did, and it’s crucial that all staff members are trained to treat every guest with respect and courtesy, regardless of their background.
[Update] I left my phone number with the restaurant manager to follow up. No call from them yet after a week.
The food was good and service very good. But the smell is intolerable, it makes you feel uncomfortable and at times you don't know if it's the food or the smell that makes it not taste very good.
I've read in other reviews that they have had this problem for more than 5 years and they haven't been able to eliminate it, in fact it's strange that it hasn't been closed yet.
The 99's I've visited are always full and the bar is very busy, but in this case the restaurant was empty and the bar had no more than 5 people. Surely they don't have enough profits and the staff turnover must be high due to the same smell and atmosphere.
They should think about moving the restaurant upstairs or to another place where locals really want to go and sit and fill it like the others. They have a good location right now, but that smell doesn't help much.
It is better to invest in a change of location than to invest in humidifiers or cleaning the area when that humidity is not only on the walls or floor, but in ducts and also permeates the kitchen, which may not be as noticeable, but it certainly affects.
Full 16oz+ Prime Rib. Requested Med Rare, got Medium. Not too tender (tough to cut) at over an inch thick. Not well marbled. Bad tasting horsh radish sauce. Fine baked potato, canned corn.
Overall, not impressed. Hostess had a bad attitude when I requested a different table while being seated.
The 99 continues to be the go to spot for great food at reasonable prices. We had the baked haddock with side salad and baked potato. I had the Sangarita Margarita wife had a Chardonnay. Everything was delicious potatoes were hot cooked completely and moist, the haddock was delicious nice and moist. Our server Carol was terrific.
Oops forgot to take pics before I started ????
Ok so my only complaint was how bad this place smells. Smells so gross. My aunt said last week when they were there too it was the same. Idk why they don't try to fix it then? But other than that I got the country chicken meal it was good! Also got drinks and we all liked those too!
Edit: Lou the owner reached out and expressed that it's been an ongoing issue that sometimes it's worse than others(said like 5% of the time is smells bad 95% of the time it smells good) and they got a couple humidifiers that were worth $3,000 each to try and help with him but there's no windows downstairs to let in fresh air so it's kind of hard for them to fully air out the place like they should.
