Such a great experience tonight at the restaurant. From Brian who took a call ahead reservation for 8, to Daniel at the host desk greeting us had such great energy. They even put us in the back where we could talk, share stories, and not be overwhelmed by trivia in the bar, or the families up front, which worked out beautifully.
Then Julie as a server did such a fantastic job checking on us and ensuring we had the food as we needed it. She was there, but not intrusive. She also set our expectations for such a busy night with candor. I felt we were well taken care of.
Jared from the kitchen even came out with the menu filterable by allergies for one in our party who needed it. He was pleasant and addressed those needs fantastically.
Thank you to the staff at this 99 restaurant for such a great evening, it made it worth the trip.
“It’s going to be 10-15 minutes wait to be seated.” That was the only thing the host said to us after we walked in and asked for table for two on Monday night with mostly empty tables. Not a greeting nor welcoming us in many ways. Not a single word we heard from them, the host left us standing in waiting area with a very awkward silence to asked if there was anybody willing to take us, then came back with that phase. Weird way to greet customers, I would say! and of course we left.
First time at a 99 restaurant. Food was fine, average for this sort of place. Fries were disgusting, hard and tasted completely unseasoned and practically raw. Everything else was good/fine. However, the service was pretty bad. Ran out of water, no refills on that. But more importantly, we were sitting around for a long time waiting for our bill. Our server kept walking past and not acknowledging us until I stared at him until we made eye contact while he was chatting with the bartender. I assume he was cut and wanted to go home, but keeping us there 30 minutes longer than we wanted to certainly wasn't getting him home any faster. Waste of time honestly.
The food is great, every plate is very big. The waiter was very nice and the price is very nice to me! But the restaurant is a little bit noisy at dinner time.
I arrived after a long day at work on a Tuesday night. The host at the door was sweet, polite, and friendly. I didn't expect there to be a wait to be seated but they were busy for a Tuesday night. I sat at the bar and I'm so glad I did! The bartender, Joey, was so nice! He was a super quick server and so polite and personable and friendly. He served me right away and take away my glasses too soon. He didn't rush me and he helped me decide on what to drink because I wanted a slow sipping drink to.start but couldn't decide. He talked so favorably about this 99 resteraunt amd the people he works for and with. He also talked favorably about his.job and customers. You can tell he's a positive person. I would definitely recommend this 99 to everyone! Thank you.
Fish was told to me as fresh. It was awful. When I brought the leftovers home it stunk up my fridge. Yup don’t know what I brought it home. Possibly didn’t think I was hungry. Took 3 days to air out. Never again.
Waiter was completely out of touch.
First time going to this restaurant didnt think it was the best. I actually enjoyed the nacho dip very cheesy it's a must try. Now the chicken was not so bad but a little dry. The steak was juicy and good flavor. The scallops had no flavor and drained in a buttery sauce with lots of water. It was totally awful don't get it you will be disappointed.
Chicken breast was dry and broccoli was alright. I was hungry so I couldn’t be bothered. Definitely room for improvement. Has asparagus on the side that was really good. Pricy but worth it.
