Good old american meals . I really enjoyed the table popcorn very buttery .our order taker was very good and attentive . Its a cozy and well lite. I got some apps the potatoe skins was very cheesy. I order burger it was the all star . It taste very good
My husband and I ate here for dinner, mostly because it was within walking distance of our hotel and was open late. I had the haddock and he had the fish and chips. The food was fine, but not great. Kind of bland and could use more seasoning.
The service was horribly slow. I understand that this sometimes happens during rush hours, but it was not busy at all. We were one of the few tables there. We waited 5-10 minutes just for someone to stop by for our drink orders, then waited a reasonably long time for food, then waited a very long time before we could flag someone down for the check and to-go boxes. We ended up paying in cash because neither of us wanted to risk another 30 minute wait for a server to return with our credit card.
Atmosphere was about what you'd expect for a sports bar. The TV was loud enough to be distracting, though not so loud you couldn't hear the other people at your table.
Headed to urgent care the morning after. Never again.
My friends had terrible moldy food, my plate looked super dirty, nothing tasted right. Very sloppy.
Bacon Mac and cheese was fire though, how sad everything else made me sick. Waitress was super nice in trying to accommodate, but that point of already taking some bites, couldn't do much else after.
I don’t mean to be this guy who just rages due to a sudden high cost for such a lowly product, but I’ll be straightforward here! There was absolutely no service at all! I am not kidding when I say this, nor am I exaggerating, but the waiter legit took 30-40 minutes to come and take our order for drinks and another for food! Then after an hour, we waited another 30minutes for the food and another 30 minutes for the bill! I am usually great with waiting games but three hours for a dam meal is way too much, and the price! We ate three steaks the size of my palm and it costed more than 200$! Absolute rip off, not to mention the food! Just look at the picture! We took the picture of the food after we ate because at the end we found too much blood from a medium cooked steak (NOT MEDIUM RARE) rotten/blackened fries and all the skin of the potatoes were all mashed into the potato! I have no clue what to say other than the fact that it is a total ripoff! I am honestly surprised to see this restaurant steal working fine, decent amount of costumers at the bar literally nobody was dining when we got there and there was mostly either silence, the TV or employees chatting(not sure where).
Ordered a COLOSSAL lobster roll. Hot buttered. Roll cold. NO butter and very stingy on the lobster. My server contacted the manager and she came right over and took the meal back and off my bill. She asked if I wanted another one. Said I did not. She offered something else. So I got the fajita bowl with shrimp. It was good. Sorry 99, you have gone way down hill in your food.
I ordered a fish & chip dinner and they didn't have it so I ordered a simple All American burger & fries asked to be cooked medium well it came back medium rare. My friend ordered a Seafood Trio that was dry and looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while also served w/ no lemon & cold broccoli the waitress brought our food we had to remind her to bring us utensils. When she returned to ask was everything ok we said no and explained about the food. She offered to fix things but at this point we were reluctant to try something new so we ate what was edible. Only good thing the waitress was apologetic & polite.
The hostess was very sweet and friendly; she sat us right away. We went in around 2:15 PM, so there was no crowd. The waitress will remain nameless, but she messed up most of the order. We asked for a refresher and received lemondae. The lemonade was good, but it was not what we ordered. We asked for corn and received broccoli. The rice was beyond watery so we had warm mashed potatoes after requesting steaming hot potatoes, because the rest of the food was cold. The chicken had no seasoning and the biscuit was hard as a brick. This must have been an off day for the restaurant, because they have great reviews. The food was terrible and service was nothing special.
Always love coming to this chain. The food is usually very consistent but the only gripe is that the steak is always just a bit too dark for me, so order it a temp below what you want it at. Besides that the service was good and the Lobster Roll definitely comes with plenty of meat for the price. That’s a must for this season.
