Nicely decorated for holidays. It wasn't crowded but they sat people rather closely together. I don't understand TVs in resturants unless it's a sporting event. So it wasn't the calm environment I would have liked.
There was a good lunch menu and prices are reasonable. Server was efficient and kind.
We went Friday for Prime Rib and we were told it wasn't on the menu for the night so that was a huge disappointment. So my hubby had the top sirloin, it was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. Same for my supposed Crab encrusted haddock, I tasted crab in the first bite only. Our son had the winning dish of the night...New England fried cod and fries...basic but it was cooked good and at least had flavor. The Buffalo wings for apps was hot and good.
I just went here with my 3 friends and my 2 yr old baby 20 minutes before closing the server refused to serve what we wanted on the menu to eat and proceeded to shake her head disrespectfully when we weren’t ready to order yet and when we did order one of the kitchen staff member walked out and was shaking his head at us complaining making noises about are food we ordered I asked to speak to a manager and she was not understanding at all and proceeded to give me attitude as well all around the staff is overly disrespectful it is there job to serve and if u don’t like ur job that badly DONT WORK THERE I will never go out to eat here again. I felt like a burden and dealt with my 2 year old baby screaming on the way home cause he wanted to eat. We also asked before we all came in if it was to late to dine in and they said no come on in. I work at a pizza restaurant and i will never ever understand how disgusting these staff members could be!!!
Very busy restaurant. Staff is friendly but you have to wait a bit to get what you need from them. Food was ok. Fried chicken was overly fried and salty. Potato skins were bland. Pistachio martini was delicious. All Star Burger was good too
I had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn it was delicious it was good for the price nice biscuit
Ordered take out- wings and fries. Fries container was barely half full. There were about 6-7 small tenders- $18 plus the $6 for fries. Waste of money won’t be ordering take out again from them. Photos attached.
Use to enjoy this restaurant but with menu changes, not so much. Ordered steak. Was a bit dry and just not very flavorful. Never in my life have I left half a steak. Baked potato ordinary. Had a soda but because of the pre-meal popcorn, I was out of drink halfway through the meal. Waitress never reappeared after meal delivery so no drink.
The service was terrible. Our waitress came over after we got up and complained. I got a lobster roll and I swear they soaked the roll in butter. The french fries were old and greasy and the waitress never came back afterThey so-called fixed it. I will never eat at 99 in Glastonbury again, it was awful. The only reason I said one star is because you had to choose a star to type a review.
