Best WLM Reviews

Wow wow wow. What an excellent meal and experience. We had a long day exploring the stockyards and booked a meal here before we went to the Friday night rodeo at the cowtown coliseum.
From the moment we walked through the door til the moment we left, the service was impeccable. Our server (I really wish I remembered her name) was incredible and an absolute asset to the business. She was so warm and kind, showed a genuine interest in our vacation, kept our drinks topped up but also gave us space when we needed it. A true pro!!
The food was everything an English person dreams of eating in Texas. The devilled eggs, fried green tomatoes and chicken fried steak were absolutely phenomenal. The portion was so big that I didn’t think I could finish but it tasted so incredible that I had to. I sat there and slowly ate everything because I refused to leave anything on the plate.
My view of the terrace was stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for my meal. The place was so clean and comfortable. I would 100% come back given the chance.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at 97 West Kitchen & Bar, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The outdoor garden is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful and beautifully landscaped space that feels like an escape from the city. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or a romantic evening.
The food was equally impressive. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the menu offers a great variety of options to cater to different tastes. I was impressed with the brunch menu! But can be better!
The service was another highlight. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they were happy to offer recommendations and accommodate any requests. From start to finish, it was a seamless dining experience.
If you’re looking for a place with excellent food, service, and a gorgeous outdoor setting, I highly recommend 97 West Kitchen & Bar. It’s a gem!
Here for an important business dinner. Four of us. Atmosphere was perfect. Fully decorated for Christmas.
Food was excellent. We had fried green tomatoes and the pepper crab dip appetizers which were both perfection. I had the bison tenderloin which was perfection if only served sooner as it had cooled a bit.
Others had the fillet, mahi and redfish. No complaints from anyone. Sides are huge.
Wine list is good…markup is ~200% of retail for what I ordered. Thus not cheap but I’ve seen worse.
Servers could have been more attentive.
No question I will come back here in a future trip.
I recently dined at 97 West. The food was undeniably great; each dish was bursting with flavor. Awesome food!
However, the service was a significant letdown. To start, I was surprised when my entree—a delicious steak—was served without a steak knife. This oversight made it awkward to enjoy my meal fully. It took far too long for another server to bring one after I requested it, disrupting the flow of my dining experience.
Additionally, Alexis did not pre-bus the table, which left empty plates and glasses piling up throughout our meal. This lack of attention made the atmosphere feel cluttered and unwelcoming.
What was even more disappointing was Alexis was reluctant to interact with the table. We felt largely ignored, as our server rarely checked in or offered any assistance beyond taking our order.
While the food was exceptional, the poor service left a sour taste in my mouth. I go out to eat for service...not food.
This place is so beautiful, the service is excellent and indoor atmosphere is fantastic. We loved the drinks and food, will return for sure. Only negative was outside seating was challenging with the tons of flies sounding our face and drinks. It was very unpleasant, we made the mistake of ordering food to eat outdoors. We quickly moved indoors because it was like being in a horror movie. We were attacked left and right, it was horrible. With the amount of class around you and the high end hotel, one would think they would regularly spray the lawn. It's Texas and you have to make it comfortable for visitors.
Was sat outside for dinner on a Saturday night. Ambiance was total perfection. Service was flawless. I had the Steak & Potatoes Salad, my date got the Ribeye, and we shared the Fried Brussels Sprouts & Three Cheese Mac & Cheese. Everything tasted fantastic. Highly recommend for an upscale dinner before a night out in the Stockyards.
We had the fixed price Thanksgiving meal and really had a good time. I started with the farm fresh salad with the sun-dried tomato vinegarette dressing followed by the herb-crusted roasted turkey that came with mashed potatoes, green beans, and fresh cranberry sause on sausage apple stuffing. We finished it off with both pecan pie and pumpkin pie with vanilla bean whipped cream. Quite a treat, something you can't get every day.
Well one word! ‘Impeccable’ An incredible experience! We loved our lunch at this place. Our server, Sam, was a gift and the food and atmosphere were perfect. ???????? indoor and outdoor seating - multiple bar areas!
