Best WLM Reviews
Loved this place for years. We miss eating at the bar with Jason as a server. The fried shrimp rice is delicious. Jason introduced us to egg foo young, and it's a favorite. It's not on menu but they will make it.
Delicious food. Generous portions. Our server, Den, and his manager are both amazing and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back soon.
888 has been a family staple for decades now. The food is always very hot, fast, fresh and generous. The atmosphere has changed several times over the years, but is always comfortable, fairly quiet and moderately clean (sticky tables seems to just go hand in hand hand with Chinese)
We often have this take out and every time, the food is piping hot and the order is spot on. We also enjoy eating in, it’s the one casual place family loves to join us at when visiting from out of town. We ALWAYS request Blanca and won’t go if she’s not working! Blanca is gem and is a huge reason why we love it so much. She is personable, helpful and always makes sure our order is just right. Are there better Chinese restaurants in the city? I’m sure there are, but for a local joint, 888 has never disappointed.
This restaurant is a must try. The atmosphere was soothing. The restaurant is so clean and spacious. The tables are not close to each other. I ordered hot green tea with honey and loved it. The egg roll was very fresh. I could taste the vegetables inside. all the food was served hot. The egg drop soup was creamy and delicious, although the little crispy chips they served were a little stale. I ordered the beef fried rice and enjoyed it. I like mine with some hot oil and soy sauce. The serving was size good for the price. The staff is friendly and attentive. I'm glad We found this place. So far, this is the best chinese food we have found since being in HOUSTON for a few months. I hope you try this restaurant, and I hope your experience is just as wonderful. ????
Spacious restaurant with deep wood accents. The menu offered a good variety of dishes. The food was excellently prepared with bold flavors.
Used to be no complaint. Pretty disappointed Last Saturday. The soup and spicy tofu still good, the Americanized chicken and fried rice ordered by kids are surprisingly good too. All other Chinese dishes pretty disappointed.
The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the pepper steak and their house lo mein. Big portions. Tea refills were quick. Mood setting lights were comforting. Waitresses and hostess were nice.
The chicken with mixed veggies and white rice had a nice sauce on it.
I really enjoyed our meal. The food was fresh and full of flavor. I will definitely be back.
