This location needs a more skilled baker. The food on the shelf always looks worse compared to the Rowland Heights location. The chocolate buns are always smaller size, and the egg tarts are badly burned. Honestly, if your product reaches this level of quality, please don’t sell it. I really wanted to question the management, would you serve these burned egg tarts to your own family? Treat your customers with the same care as your family, that’s how you grow your business.
$4 for burned baked goods? I’ll pass.
I had a great experience on a weekday afternoon here. Some of the labels were missing so I had to ask around or guess what the breads were, but otherwise, the employees were super nice and helpful.
The boroh danish cream, red bean bread and taro puff pastries are some of our favorite sweet buns.
Been coming here for years and it's always the same culture and delicious goodies.
I've never been to an 85 bakery with this huge dining area! Very clean and bright store. This is a famous affordable bakery from Taiwan. Love the Boroh Cream Danish!
Cool Taiwanese franchise bakery that’s made its way to California. The buns are decent, fresh, and the place seems to always be busy.
Their cookies are okay, I probably should have tried another flavour.
A couple of notes, not all the baked goods are labeled and many sell out during the day.
Overall, a bit expensive but good to try for the experience.
First 85 Degrees store that had everything I can possibly look for. Especially the hard to find pork sung bread. Place is well stocked. Service was great and prompt. Bakery items were consistent and well marked.
The area is being remodeled so so be aware of the construction and barriers in place.
This is my favorite location. It's very spacious, selection is great and the staff is amazing. They are constantly bringing out fresh bread. There is enough tables for you to sit down, enjoy the bread/cakes without feeling the pressure that you need to hurry up because someone else is waiting for tables. My go to bread is the taro puff pastry and jasmine tea with sea salt. I recently discovered the multigrain sliced bread and it's amazing for avocado toast. SO DELICIOUS!!!!
I highly recommend this bakery if you are looking for great cakes, fresh bread and amazing teas.
I visited 85 degrees today to get a birthday cake for my kid. I always liked the cakes there, but today's experience in 85 degrees ruined my day! It’s not rush hour I waited in line and soon it's my turn, I was about to tell the girl what I am gonna get, but the black girl left, she LEFT! Acted like she didn't see me who's right in front of her. I waited for a while and she's not seem returning soon, I can see over the glass that she was just relax talking to other people inside. It was so frustrated to just standing there, but it’s good that a few time later another girl finished her task at hand came to help. I think the black girl needs a customer service training. Because of my terrible experience today, I don’t think I have enough reason to visit 85 degrees as often as before.
