No flies when I went in at all The food was excellent really.... the greens were great!!. the cakes are specialty like banana walnut or coconut pineapple. Parking is 10 bucks ..plenty of parking ..beats the bs food and 18 dollar parking at the major chains. Store clerk was super nice the girl at the food counter just has a root canal and was still super friendly. The cook came out and he was super friendly. I'm glad to have places like this out here compared to the major chains. I didn't inquire about the shower since I had one this morning so I can't comment on that.
Not too far from a warehouse that I had to deliver to. I did not see a bunch of flies inside the building, so they must have taken care of that issue. Parking is not a bad price, $10.00 a night. The food in the hot case was not expensive and was pretty good. My only issue with the place was that there are no working showers. I couldn't stand being dirty for one more day. I went and shampooed my hair and washed my face and neck out in the grass behind my truck. I sponge bathed everything else inside my truck. The guy at the register said that it's going to be a while before the showers get repaired because there's something wrong with the septic system of the truck stop. They need more, bigger truck stops in this area.
This place was cool. It was a dirt lot, seems to never fill up. Service was okay, the people aren’t super friendly but they aren’t rude or anything. Parking is $10 after 5pm. Not sure if they take it seriously or not. I went to ask if the parking was free if I purchased anything else, he seemed hesitant when answering but ended up charging me. However I didn’t see parking passes in a lot of people windows so idk. The food is decent. They have a hot line. It’s not the best but it was something hot. I got the fried chicken with rice gravy and macaroni. I also got the marble cake. All I can say is it was decent. The rice was an absolute no for me it was hard so I didn’t eat that. The cake was good and I loved the cornbread. I couldn’t say that I really loved anything else. I went back that night and got lasagna and turkey with mash potatoes. That was much better. But again it’s decent not the best. I’m also from Louisiana where we have the best food ???? so you may think their food is great. Give it a try. They have diesel, washout and service center there as well. The showers were down when I went. Overall it’s a pretty decent place. Mainly it’s parking, not much in that area. ????????♀️

Great food and awesome service. All home cooked. From the meats to the vegetables very tasty and clean cafeteria style serving. Don't miss your chance to check this old school truck stop out. Not many of these gems left on the road.
$10 parking and lots of spaces. The restroom are clean. They now have a fresh food deli with a clean seating area. Pork chops, mash potatoes and green beans top off with a German Chocolate Cake. It looks like the showers are being remodeled
Randomly came across this hidden gem today..... they have a hot bar that knocked my socks off....great home style cooking and friendliest staff you could hope for. I pray I'm able to experience this place again sometime.
My husband and I stayed here. Came in late at night and then had breakfast! Loved our breakfast the food was delicious and the service was great! I highly recommend the scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, biscuits and apples! Wish I had taken pictures.
