Amazing historic location. Impeccable food and service. She crab soup is a must to start. Almost a NOLA influence on low country favorites. Shrimp and grits had bbq shrimp with amazingly perfectly cooked shrimp. Perfect portions.
Amazing service, food, and drinks. We had a baby and a stroller and they offered stroller storage and made room for our bassinet. The food tasted great and the drinks were the perfect mix of flavor and strength. Took a long time to be seated but we should have made a reservation
She crab soup was the best I have ever had! Crab Benedict was delicious. I also tried the cheesecake, lemon cake, and the pecan pie. Everything I tasted was wonderful and beautifully presented.
Amazing service great food but just very expensive for simple food . I get it it’s the brand and they have earned it. The she crab soup was good in my opinion i have had a better one in Charleston but the crab cake was my very favorite and shocking the livers were so so good. It did have a different texture and flavor from all the other she crab soups i’ve had, it was delicious but was not my favorite. The shrimp and grits were eh. My husband had the steak and shrimp and it was top notch. Our waitress was amazing. It does get loud when more people fill each room. But we dined earlier on in the evening so it wasn’t much of an issue. It’s a nice place to celebrate something special. Would i go back probably not but it’s an experience if you are visiting.
Dined here last night with my bff on our girls trip. Made reservations, which is recommended. This is a very nice, fine dining restaurant and did not disappoint! We ordered the special blackened swordfish, which was so tender & moist. Scrumptious! Highly recommend this restaurant! Very comfortable inside dining as well as a large outside patio area that looked very inviting.
This was a very enjoyable dinner. The she-crab soup was excellent, its key ingredient is crab roe which gives it a unique color and flavor. I also had crab cakes which I enjoyed very much. The service was pleasant and friendly.
Best meal and experience while in Charleston! Five of us were in Charleston for a long weekend and let me tell you we had some great meals. 82 Queen was the favorite among all of us. Jason was amazing, his recommendations and attention to details were spot on, he was engaging and fun! The food and drinks were out of this world and ambiance was perfectly Charleston!
The tomato pie and crab cakes, the Fish and Grits, the BBQ shrimp and grits and the jambalaya were outstanding! The pecan pie and bread pudding totally worth the calories.
Don’t miss this restaurant!!!
Superb meal. Started with the she crab soup which was excellent, it reminded me of the Bookbinders soup I used to have at the Cape Cod Room in Chicago when I was a kid in the 60s. Followed it up with a salad and then the low country gumbo. Loved the gumbo.
