Best WLM Reviews
The food was very well seasoned, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I ordered and enjoyed the catfish, collards, and grits. I ordered corn muffins after I received my food and those took a while to arrive. They were a little dry, but the honey butter drizzle that made them taste like dessert helped add a little moisture back. Our server was very sweet, but a little slow. It may not have been enough servers on shift for a Tuesday late lunch.
I’m always intrigued with brunch spots when I am out of town and visiting this restaurant was a great experience. The names of the entrées are pretty funny. The food had great taste and texture and was just enough to finish the entire bowl. The spicy creole sauce was top notch! The grits were not too cheesy or gritty I would definitely recommend if you’re in town and in the area. We went on a weekday and it was very quiet and we like that. Our hostess was extremely friendly she made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Loved everything about it. From the welcoming hostess, waitress, chef/cooks, and bartender. I was celebrating my bday. Bria(hopefully, I spelled it correctly) was an incredible waitress. She gave us a few vocals and handled evening that was asked accordingly. The food was amazing to another level and the drinks were great. I definitely recommend everyone about this place or business. Also, the ambience was amazing.
We came here for brunch and had a wonderful time. While we had a little issue with the food as the first customers there that day, everything was rectified immediately. Thank You Chef!! Shout out to our server Ronnie and staff for making sure we didn't have any other problems. We took our endless mimosas next door to the lounge...and I don't remember the rest!! Lol ????. Needless to say, we had a Great time. If you're ever looking for a cool brunch spot with All the Vibes and want to support a Black Owned Business, check them out Y'all!!
This is my first time at 7th + grove. I had a great time here I ordered the deviled eggs with a Ari Lennox drink on the side, 10/10. Jessica J was my tables server and she had amazing energy. Very welcoming and fun! I’d definitely come back!!!
My new favorite brunch spot! There are 2 sides, a buffet side and a menu side. We chose the menu side this time but will be back to try the buffet side. The staff was incredible and were the backbone of the experience. From the host who greeted us, to the bartender that made sure we had drinks while we waited for a table to our server who made phenomenal recommendations... I cannot say enough about how enjoyable they made brunch. This was clearly contagious because the entire restaurant was feeling it, to the extent of singing and getting up to dance (shoutout to the playlist). While that alone would've been good enough to be a great brunch, the food and drinks were well curated and made it challenging to decide what to get. Solution: go with a large group, order everything and share.
I was visiting Tampa for the weekend and experienced 7th + Grove. The staff was attentive and the food & drinks were good. I had deviled eggs and the turkey leg with collards/mac-n-cheese. Also, I like the fact you can get three different types of experiences in 3 different buildings. A restaurant, bar, and speakeasy. Great concept! I will revisit when I return to Tampa.
We had the pleasure of having brunch here with Bria as our server. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Very polite, knowledgeable & sweet! She made sure to check in often to ensure everything is okay & I really appreciate her hospitality <3 if you come here ask for Bria & be sure to tip her :) 10/10 def recommend
