Best WLM Reviews
Great food, good portions. Even though I was a party of one, I was given a booth! A perfect spot. Annette is friendly, accommodating, and communicates in a way that makes one feel welcomed. I had the bacon skillet with raisin toast.
Only my second time dining here. Will
definitely go again, highly recommend.
Wonderful cheeseburgers, people, and atmosphere! Highly recommend!
- Double Cheeseburgers (Six Pack Challenge) - $30: A new challenge they started back in late August. Finish in 30 minutes and you get a free T-Shirt while supplies last. I finished with Nathan Klein (a Youtuber) in 8:18 breaking their previous record of 12 minutes or so.
That said, the burgers were awesome! The patties are somewhere around 1/6lb each. That is a guess. I am not sure as it is not stated anywhere. They were juicy and tasty. There was a bit more cheese than many other burgers usually have, but it made it better in this case. You choose your toppings. The bun choice was great with a soft texture.
- Service: The staff here are wonderful and really care about your experience. We had everything we asked for with a bright smile and more help than we could have asked for. I cannot stress enough, they were wonderful!
- Atmosphere: A great trucker diner with a clean and precise atmosphere. Everything was newer and nothing I could find showed all that much wear. It was filled in well with a warmth and cheer that makes you want to come back regularly for sure.
- Conclusion: You gotta stop and have a bite with your friends.
Visited on a Thursday at 2:30-4:30pm.
We came in on a Friday morning and it was very busy, but the service was still quick and the food was absolutely perfect. Would definitely recommend the “Pig Pile” and the stuffed French toast. Could not ask for a better experience!????????
I've never really had chicken fried steak that tastes much different than others but this one! Wow! There is no close second. I'm so full but I can't stop taking additional bites. Also, our waitress, Heidi, is 10 stars! Super kind, and it's genuine, she's very efficient, always checking on us but not annoyingly, she's funny. An overall great experience ????
The place was busy even at 11:30 pm on a Thursday with a steady stream of people coming in.
It has a nice vibe to it and the servers are extremely welcoming.
The food is served in very large portions, and reasonably priced based on the amount of food served in each meal.
This is a place I’ll stop whenever I’m back in the area.
I was able to get a good idea of what was good based on the food coming out of the kitchen. I ended up with the meatloaf sandwich covered in gravy and served with potatoes. I subbed the mashed for hash browns: it was so good.
I decided to have blueberry pancakes for dessert. I had no hope in finishing both plates but 2 10 inch pancakes are only $4.99 add blueberries for a very reasonable $1.50
The blueberries were big! I can’t decide which meal I liked more. More research is needed.
They don’t make ‘em like this anymore, and that makes me grateful to find places like these.
This is a really neat restaurant truck stop off the highway, really nice decorated fir the holidays open after hours and 25 hours a day..the staff was super friendly and attentive there breakfast was amazing and delicious ????. This will be a regular stop especially after the clubs/ bars. Nice gas station and store. Everything you need and more. Great service and decor. Love the Christmas spirit and decorations ❤️
The food was amazing and you get large portion for what you pay. It is open 24/7 so there is no time that is too early or late. Great spot to spot if your in a semi or truck/trailer load. Staff was friendly and checked on us a time or 2 during our meal. Would come back when in this area
Took the father in law here for lunch today. I had the ranch chicken wrap, he had the liver and onions. Both meals were excellent! He was very pleased with the liver and onions and said he'd be back with Mom for another meal here soon. This place really is a hidden gem. I've been eating here for many years and never had a bad meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even at 2:30am after the bars close! Can't go wrong with this place - try it!
