1 star because training… on Wednesdays, takes precedence over taking care of airmen.
Keep a sick force and performance gets better.
DEFEND THE HILL!!!!!
Win, Fight, Fly!
Aim High by setting the bar low!
Space Force is always open…
Jack in the box is open on Wednesdays? Why yes.
Blessed not stressed.
Recently diagnosed with sepsis, 104.5 temp. Several blood tests, CT scans and ultra sounds were unable to identify or eliminate the source of infection.
Doctors wanted an MRI, however, I had clips in my chest cavity from a surgery performed at the Hill AFB hospital in 1984. The composition of the clips were uncertain. MRI could not safely proceed but necessary.
Reviewed the medical records I recieved at retirement but was unable to get the detailed clip composition. Needed more detailed information.
Contacted Records Section, speaking to SRA that carefully listened to the situation. He conveyed understanding and concern and said he would get with his supervisors to research the records in 1984.
The SRA contacted me couple hours later and apologized. They had scoured the records, found the surgery but, the level of detail necessary was not available in the surgical records.
I didn't get the critical information necessary. However, the concern and respect demonstrated to me that day made me proud to a member of the USAF community and to know that the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are in good hands today.
David L Boettcher, SMSgt, USAF (Ret)
Did get MRI and in recovery.
Not sure why 75 MSS doesn't have a blanket mask policy at the clinic similar to what is being enforced off-base. Also had a not so good experience with one of the Family Health receptionists today at my wife's "scheduled" appointment. We had to go through two calls just to get the appointment then we showed up and were told the appointment was two days from today. Not even 1% effort by the receptionist to look into the situation but they just stated that they don't have anything sorry. It took a kind Major to step in and offer to see us instead of turning us away. Hence the two stars. Otherwise I would have no stars.
Just another air force clinic honestly. It's just as bad as all of the others. At my appointment, the doctor was rude and condescending to me. He talked down to me the whole time. When I tried to advocate for myself, he shut me down and basically told me that another military doctor's mistake was my fault. This not my first negative experience with a military clinic by far, and not even my first negative experience here. The people who work at these clinics need to learn that a little patience, empathy, and kindness goes a long way.
I've already voiced my concerns up the chain, with no response. Y'all NEED to replace the appointment line personnel IMMEDIATELY. This is completely ridiculous. Have they not been fully trained to handle questions? This is the worst setup imaginable, without a solution in sight.
Don’t even get me started on their attitudes, OR THE FACT THAT I CANT GET SEEN FOR OVER A MONTH. By far the WORST clinic ever.
This clinic keeps getting more disorganized, maybe the reason is because everybody wants to be in charge without an worker. They try to be nice but that is it. Continued IF one person in charge says something it should be echoed but all of the subordinates, but it changes with each person you talk to. Also they always try to prove to you they are right no matter what. I was told at my last appointment to still come to my next one but, it apparently got cancelled. I am not sure what happened or if when I called they did not understand that I needed an extra appointment in between the next scheduled. This confussion is becoming a major waste of time!
This review is for Captain Carrie Downey at the women's clinic there. She is absolutely amazing! For all of my visits with her I never feel rushed or ignored. She is patient, understanding, empathetic and knowledgeable. Many occasions she has taken the time to put me at ease, give me advice and answer all my questions. There's even been a few times where she had to pick up the slack from other doctors in the main family clinic part of the building to help find the cause to an illness that had nothing to do with her field. She did all this professionally too!
If I could I would give the satellite pharmacy negative stars but that is not an option. I went today the 2nd of January to pick up a refill from the "FAST" kiosk, Which like normal did not work. I then proceeded to the window which wasted another 20 minutes just to get told by a chubby young dark haired woman that I had to go to a different window a couple feet away when she could have just gotten the medication for me. This was pretty rude and Lazy and just wasted my time and the customers in back of me. This place is one big MESS...Also every other time we go there since they changed where to pick up refills the average window wait time is an hour to an hour and a half...
