Best WLM Reviews
Great little local spot for tasty steaks. Bonus is, they are pretty kid friendly with a kids menu.
I had a Wagyu New york and wife had the filet. The New York had tons of flavor and cooked well. It however was not very tender. The filet was also cooked well and had great flavor. It was very tender as it should. The sides were excellent. We had mash potatoes and mushrooms and ate every bit of it.
My only critique on the service was I ran out of water part way through my meal and my waiter was nowhere to be found. I eventually had to get up and grab the pitcher myself to refill the water. Other then that, the waiter was very friendly and food and drinks came out promptly.
I definitely would recommend this place for a more casual spot to grab a steak while not being as expensive as a full on steak house and not as lax as a Longhorn.
We had a birthday dinner here.
I had the bison filet. My wife had steak and lobster tail. The food was truly excellent.
They have some nice wine on the list. The mixed drinks were the only thing I thought could use improvement.
Well done!
The brownie was like molten cake. My wife was truly excited about the experience.
The interior of this historic building is so beautiful; the bar alone is just stunning. There’s a really great backstory to this restaurant that everyone should take the time to read about! Never had a poor experience here and your martinis never get warm. Pretty great happy hour as well with some small plate offerings. I love the huge shrimp you get with the shrimp cocktail app.
740 Front in Louisville is a charming dining destination that beautifully blends historic ambiance with modern culinary flair. Located in one of Colorado's oldest saloons, the restaurant retains much of its vintage charm, featuring original woodwork, tin ceilings, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for a special night out or a cozy dinner.
The menu at 740 Front is focused on upscale American cuisine with a strong emphasis on steaks and seafood. The steaks are a highlight, expertly cooked and full of flavor, often described as some of the best in the area. The seafood options are equally impressive, with fresh, well-prepared dishes that showcase quality ingredients.
The service is generally attentive and professional, with a staff that is knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Whether you’re looking for a recommendation or need to customize a dish, they’re accommodating and eager to ensure you have a great experience.
The drink selection is also noteworthy, with a well-curated wine list, craft cocktails, and a selection of local beers. The bartenders are skilled, and the cocktails are crafted with care, making the bar a great spot for a pre-dinner drink.
Overall, 740 Front offers a delightful dining experience that combines excellent food, a historic setting, and top-notch service. It’s a must-visit for anyone in Louisville looking for a memorable meal in a unique, historic venue.
Amazing experience. Thomas provided great service.
I had the Bison Ribeye (Medium) with Yukon Potatoes and Spinach. For dessert, I had a slice of apple pie with ice cream. The food was absolutely delicious.
I cannot say enough good things about my dining experience tonight.
Overall i was not impressed. It took over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. My steak wasn't soft and delicious, then you pay $55 for just the steak and then 11 per side. So with mash potatos and asparagus it came to $71. Could of been much better..
Our favorite place in Louisville. We host our work dinners here regularly. Love the historic feel and the hand carved bar. The menu has something g for everyone and I haven’t tried anything yet that wasn’t prepared perfectly. Service is always friendly and accommodating. Nothing but great things to say about this place.
Visited 740 Last night for the first time for my birthday, atmosphere is great along with service, we got the calamari and crab cakes to start and both were absolutely delicious, i got the lamb pops for dinner and it was some of the best lamb ive had, my girlfriend got the clam linguine and the chef was able to accommodate her dairy allergies with no issues. Will most defiantly be back!
