Best WLM Reviews
Small town know for tourism. The sushi was taste was mediocre, yet pretty plating, even though we didn’t have high expectations seeing at how it’s a mountain town with little access to fresh fish. The noodle dishes lacked flavor and the service was minimal. I think there was only one waitstaff on the schedule for a lunch service and we had a larger party of six. Although, only a couple other tables had guests, we weren’t checked on enough and our drinks went without being refilled.
Came in for some egg drop soup and sushi because it’s a safe gf option usually. They did not disappoint. We had lettuce wraps and combination pad Thai too. The food was delicious. The service was spot on and we left happy campers
Five stars for the incredibly nice family who runs this place. I had a craving for good old Chinese American food and I got exactly what I wanted. Hard to find that kind of food these days!
Edit: We got orange chicken and Singapore rice noodle bento boxes for lunch. Delicious!
Food was tasty and adequate amount. Very well presented. Service good but not great. All in all, quite satisfactory. We’ve been here twice in two years during our vacation in Steamboat Springs. Last year, service was better but food still great.
My husband and I travel quite a bit eating at many different Sushi and Japanese restaurants around the states. This was the worst sushi I’ve had in my life. For being a tourist town I had figured this restaurant would be decent. We threw all $90 worth of sushi away and are both feeling nauseous still today. I highly recommend choosing a different location to eat.
Was walking to another restaurant after a trip into the Springs and stopped because this place smelled so good. Was super slow day I suppose because we were the only ones in there.
Service was good and food came out now after not too long. Super yummy food. Will probably go back if I find myself starving in Steamboat agin. Recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp entree!
I gotta tell you about this restaurant I went to. The prices were through the roof, but when the food arrived, I was shocked at how tiny the portions were. And don't even get me started on the service—it was a total letdown. The food itself? Basic, plain, and nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth the hype or the money.
Food was great and portions were good. We did the zesty orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night. Service was great.
