Best WLM Reviews

Interesting experience. This salon was recommended to me for a gel manicure and the website seemed to promote a more upscale experience. I walked in early for my appointment, was kindly greeted and directed to choose my gel color.
I was placed with a tech who was told I needed a fill. (Though it was easy for me to make an appointment online, she said they had 40 techs working because of how busy they were!) I shared my concerns which brought me in today: remove gel color, cut my long nails short. I shared I had natural nails with gel color and it took the entire appt to convince her which was odd. She took off the gel, clipped, painted, added cuticle oil which she told me to rub in. (FYI They are out of several reds due to holiday apparently.)
That's it.
No hand soak, no lotion massage, no cuticle clip.
I asked to rinse the oil and then noticed "bubbles" on two of my nails, requesting that they be fixed. She seemed reluctant, but couldn't deny the bubbles so buffed the two nails, put clear gel, cured, and sent me on my way to pay.
Had I ACTUALLY wanted a full on spa treatment, I would've said something. Maybe even inquired about the wine. But in/out was convenient today.
Lastly, gel manicure was $35. She charged me $5 to clip my nails. What?! So odd! I paid with tip, said "Merry Christmas" twice to her back because she turned away, and carried on. (I noticed the customers checking out next to me also were concerned with their services charges, but like me chalked it up to hidden fees. Hmmm..increase due to Holidays?)
I don't live here, so should I return I'll ask specifically for a tech that has good reviews. Or go somewhere else.
I swear if I could give this place negative stars, I would. I have been here twice for waxing services and both times were genuinely disappointing.
The first time was for a full leg wax. I had booked for that service. I was very much looking forward to it as I had just gotten out of a leg cast after being in it for three months. I came away incredibly disappointed. It started by being led into an entirely too bright, too small, too quiet room. Completely the opposite environment of the Evergreen locations waxing rooms. I was only given instructions to lay down before the tech left the room. There was no covering towel provided. I then received a lower leg wax. When I told her I booked for a full leg wax, she told me I didn't have any hair on my thighs and she didn't need to do it. They then tried to charge me for a full leg wax and I had to correct them.
The second time was with my best friend. She had booked us Brazilians. This was by far a much more disgusting experience. The tech again only told me to lay down before leaving. No covering towel was provided. She only wore one glove for this service. She double and triple dipped sticks in the wax pot. How many other clients has she done this with? Her ungloved hand became so covered in wax she was sticking to my skin and having to dislodge herself while also trying to remove the strip. It was more painful than actually removing the strip. I was under the impression the Brazilian included the back, which she didn't get. She left more than the usual fuzz behind. When she was having difficulty with spots, she used a rather large pair of craft/kitchen scissors to cut the wax covered hair.
When she was done with me my friend had her turn. She did the same thing during that service. One glove (which is questionable as to if she even changed it), double/triple dipping sticks, didn't change the table liner between us.
And the biggest most disgusting thing I watched was she dropped a already double dipped sticks on the ground, picked it up AND DIPPED IT BACK IN THE POT TO USE ON MY FRIEND AGAIN! I absolutely had to stop her at that point. I told her she needed to grab a new stick. But it had already been dipped in the pot.
I just absolutely would recommend staying away from this location for waxing at least. I haven't had any other services but at this point I don't want to.
My favorite shape and color…Candy listened and delivered. Haven’t gone to this salon long, but have not been disappointed. Provided drinks and calm atmosphere makes treating yourself all the better! ????????????????????????
I came in the Friday before Mother’s Day to treat myself to a pedicure. I was charged for the #10 package which was over $100 before the gel polish price of $15 and I was told by my nail tech David I would receive a 1 hour massage with my package (which is why I picked that one in the first place) and I ended up getting maybe a 5 minute total massage for both my feet. My nail polish ended up looking so bad (it was lumpy and there were air bubbles) and the entire experience was such a letdown that I called and complained. I spoke with someone named Tamara who scheduled me an appointment for the following Monday (today 5/13/24) to have my pedicure redone and so I come in today and check in at the nail desk, I explained the situation and how I spoke with Tamara and she scheduled me to come in today and I would have my pedicure redone. After the nail tech finished fixing my nail color I was told I was done. I felt so frustrated at this point i just want to leave because I didn’t even get a massage or anything, I go to leave and the nail tech stops me and says it’s $30 I say “No, I explained to the man up front that this appointment was free because it was supposed to be an attempt to make my last experience right etc.” the man up front (named Neil) is standing there and starts talking to me very aggressively and says I should have told him that when I checked in, I said I did and he continues arguing with me and says he never checked me in and I never told him anything etc. Mind you I’m 8 months pregnant and I’m standing there with this man raising his voice to me, pointing his finger in my face and creating a scene in the salon. I tell him repeatedly that he checked me in, I explained to him the situation when I checked in and at that point I’m ready to speak to the manager Tamara again. I call her with the phone number she provided me the previous Friday and she is beyond disrespectful to me, she says in a very clipped tone of voice that “I cant help you with your experience today, I’m dealing with a family situation and don’t have time for nail stuff, I hope you enjoy your day” and hangs up. I have never ever had such a terrible experience with a nail salon ever. I would recommend going anywhere besides here.
Hannah did a really good job on my full acrylic set and was also fast even though the design was complicated! Definitely ask for Hannah my pedicure was also great
Always friendly, clean establishment. They do try hard to understand you and some of the employees do make conversation as they're doing nails. Make sure your asking for price before hand and if you add anything like nail length, nail shape, certain colors and designs it adds up fast! Other than that I really do love this salon!
Set up a mother's day appointment. Had the retreat ordered for $190 that includes a hot stone massage, manicure and pedicure over 3 hours. I got there and they didn't do the hot stone massage. They added a nail service and ultimately cost $340. Mom got the nails she wanted and the mani/pedi but the price advertised was fake. We were there all day till close. They offer drinks but you only get one. Nice people and decent service. But won't be coming here ever again.
I see Crystal and wow, she's amazing! I've gone to lots of higher end spas and she beats all of them. I've been getting gel manicure and pedicures and they look as good from day 1 until I go in again 4+weeks later. I'm super impressed with her work. She's also extremely personable, highly recommend seeing her.
The spa itself has a very relaxing and welcoming environment as well.
