This hotel is gross. When you walk in it smells like someone have been smoking in it all the time. The room floor feels like when you have clean a floor that have been mopped but still sticking. The bathroom is uncomfortable to be in. The lady that helped us flat out told us that no one else would take us since it was 9:30 at night. On their site it says that they are pet friendly but in person they don't accept cats. We had to pay more for our cat to be with us. We just moved us here from Maryland and our place isn't ready for us yet. I don't recommend this place for anyone at all.
We stayed here from out of state due to a family emergency. The room smelled awful. You couldn't walk around the room without shoes as the carpet was not only dirty but sticky. The items in the vending machine were very old and stale. The microwave plug was far away from any outlet, and we had to have it on the floor to reach a plug-in. The beds smelled bad and were sort of damp, we slept on top of the covers. The bathroom was also dirty, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned between guests and had a mold smell. (They have 3 "slot machines" in an area by the vending machine that eats your money. The tickets are printed at the desk, not at the machine, so we didn't get our money back, we put a 20 in one machin, and it registered we had zero. Lady at desk was nice but refused to give us our money back, we even showed her (with a dollar) how the money you put in didn't register and she said "that just doesn't happen". We were just trying to take our minds off our loved one in the hospital.) There were also mattresses in the hallway, leaning against the wall, parking lot not very lit and room door was flimsy and felt unsafe. If you're there due to an emergency situation and there's no other hotels, I'd sleep in the car.
The lady is very nice but the rooms and hallways are not cleaned properly. Beds are atrocious. Found socks, a hat, old food wrappers under the beds. Room appliances aren't clean either. Had weird orange bugs in the room and bathroom. Smoking not allowed but it was obvious people upstairs are smoking in there rooms. Place either needs a total overhaul or shut down unfortunately.
The carpet in the hallways are not laid down right. You have to pay to get toilet paper and clean towels. The hall way also has a bad smell. The room was dirty and they did nothing about it. The shower you could see were the last person had there soap and the sink had not been washed. If you get sick don't throw up on anything because they will charge you for that to. The room was also very dusty and the sheets on the bed had blood on them. They told us the next day that those sheets were clean. The floor looked like it had never been vacuumed. They charge you for every person. The microwave sounded like it was going to dye.
They change their rates whenever they want. They choose their favorites. They would deactivate our card if we wouldn’t pay them by a certain time of the day. They refused to give receipts and make up excuses as to why they can’t. They will rip you off. The room is full of bedbugs, and it stinks. People smoke in their rooms. The Wi-Fi does not work.
Great staff, great rooms for a good price. The downside for rooms is the mini fridge is too cold, even on lowest setting; basically freezes everything. Think about turning off and for a little while; but don't forget to plug back in lol. The key reader can either take one time or 4 tinesLocation parking is limited and a few potholes. 6 minutes to Kwik trip, 4 minutes to Marshfield hospital. No one bothered me.
I'd stayed here 10 years ago and it was ok. I don't think the place has been cleaned since. The pillows had hair on them, the bathtub had hair and mold, trash hadn't been emptied, refrigerator had food smeared on it. If I hadn't been stranded due to a blizzard I would have left.
Lady that runs motel is very friendly and helpful, however when quoted weekly rate we were not told over the phone that hotel charges for each person or that a deposit would be collected @ check in, she was kind enough to accept what we could offer in regards to deposit. Also the water wasn't very up to par if your looking forward to a hot shower after a 2 day car ride & 30 deg temperatures!
