Best WLM Reviews

If you’re traveling to the Keys, 7 Mile Cuban Restaurant is a must-visit. From the outside, it might look like an easy spot to miss, but this place is a true hidden gem!
We had the best pizza we’ve ever tasted, along with incredible spaghetti Napolitano—these guys really know how to make Cuban pizza. But the real highlight was the special request we had for lobster. The chef went above and beyond, making a couple of calls and managing to find us four fresh lobsters. He even brought them to our table live, then prepared them with his own special twist. It was an unforgettable experience!
The owner, Carlos, made us feel like family. His passion for his food and hospitality shines through. We’re so grateful for this amazing experience. Thanks, Carlos! Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area!
Authentic, fresh food cooked by the owner. He hand grinds the meat for the burger. Nothing frozen.
Owner is a wonderful dude. We will be back!
Stopped here late after a sunset outing on the water. The waitress was very friendly but spoke almost no English (always a good sign) She suggested a whole fish and I went for it! Very flavorful and interesting combo of black bean rice and plantains (which were amazing) Anyway, the food was great and would def go back!
We were super skeptical to eat here. Walking in, you are smacked in the face with a sulfur smell. We were the only customers when we got there, so the vibe was off. There was no music, but the server did put some on eventually. It was nothing special, just a typical looking restaurant.
The food was absolutely delicious! The chef had to assist the server in taking our order due to some language barriers, but it ended up helping in the end. He was extremely passionate of his establishment and the food he put out. We tried out many things on the menu, like a traditional cuban which was amazing. We also had the pizza, and got half Hawaiian and half pepperoni, that was also really good. The salad had a giant piece of chicken, but it was delicious. And the tamales were also something we would recommend. Overall the food was amazing.
Overall felt bad for judging it on first looks because the food was so good. The chef made recommendations for breakfast...was excited to show us his social medias that featured their options! Will have to try while we are here.
The pizza here is amazing. The crust is chewy and a little sweet, not too much sauce. My whole family will eat it. I also ordered a Cuban sandwich, it was really good.
The staff was very friendly.
As we ate an early dinner, it was a quiet time at the restaurant with very few people there. The food was authentic and some of the best we’ve ever had. Sides of plantains and congri complemented the main course. Our waitress was attentive while also providing us space
I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife had the Cuban burger. Both were huge and excellent. I've had Cuban sandwiches twice the price and half the size that were no where near as good. After several mediocre and overpriced meals the last few days.
We were the only non native Spanish speakers when we visited and the owner has to help translate for the waiter, but everything came out as we ordered.
Absolutely delicious! Great food selections. Fresh foods. Cook/ owner comes out with food trays himself. Checks on customers which is awesome. It was pretty busy when we were there. Lots of turnover with food so nothing is left sitting in trays. Different rice choices, pork and beef dishes, fresh veggies, peppers and pico. It is cafeteria style but there is a lovely woman walking around to help. It was like taking a bite out of my grandmother’s food. Everything was seasoned perfectly. If I could give 10 stars I would!! Definitely recommend… thank you!!
