This review is strictly for the restaurant. First, the amazing native art in this casino is absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend walking around to view it. Secondly, they might well have the most beautiful display of Christmas lights - that goes for miles - of any casino. Now, to the restaurant. Food and drinks are good, but the ambiance is terrible for what could be a fine dining experience. It is lit up like Baskin & Robbins with very bright ceiling lights. We were there last night and unfortunately I didn't have my sunglasses or I would have worn them. There were two spotlights aimed at our side of the table that were so bright they were giving me a headache. We asked if the lights could be dimmed but were told no, so I moved to the other side of the table. Still super bright but at least it wasn't aimed directly in my face. We've had dinner there several times in the past and this has always been a problem so I don't think we'll return. It's unfortunate because it could be a lovely dining experience if not for the harsh lighting.
We stayed at 7 Cedars from Oct 11 to Oct 14, 2024 on the Big Crabbie Golf Package to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday. From the birthday “Celebrate” balloons, champagne, cake and gift, to the excellent breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant at the hotel and at the golf course, to the spacious and comfortable corner suite with the totally amazing double shower and the oh so comfortable bed and pillows, we enjoyed it all and had a great time. The beautiful and challenging Cedars at Dungeness golf course was especially enjoyed by my husband who is an avid golfer, and by me as an avid photographer.||||We are both retired, and as fine artists, we especially enjoyed and appreciated the beautiful Native American artwork on the walls in the rooms and throughout the hotel, the beautiful use of wood throughout the premises, the amazing masks (and delicious food!) in the House of Seven Brothers restaurant, the awesome totem poles outside, and the Native Expressions Art Gallery close by. As an avid gardener, I also appreciated the beautifully kept grounds and unique ornamental trees and shrubs. ||||From reservations, to the front desk, to the restaurants and bars, to the golf course, all of the staff were very friendly, efficient, helpful and accommodating. ||||We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
I recently stayed at 7 Cedars and was thoroughly impressed by the staff and the check-in process. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The front desk team made checking in a breeze, efficiently handling everything with a friendly smile.
They took the time to explain all the hotel amenities and provided great recommendations for local attractions. It was evident that they genuinely care about their guests’ experiences. The room was ready upon my arrival, and I appreciated the quick and seamless process, which set a positive tone for my stay.
I also had the chance to dine at Seven Brothers Restaurant, and I can confidently say it is the best casino restaurant I have ever been to! The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was inviting. The combination of great service and delicious cuisine made for a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, the exceptional service from the staff made my visit memorable, and I would highly recommend 7 Cedars to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience!
The room was impeccable and beautiful. The beds are super soft and the pillows superb. Housecleaning did a great job in the room. The casino was very clean and the older gentleman at the player’s club reception was exceptionally helpful and had a great smile. I played and didn’t win much but had a wonderful time anyway. I enjoyed the selection at the Seven Beothers restaurant. All in all, it is always a wonderful experience at the resort. Thank you.
The bed was very comfortable. The bathrobes were of high quality. The front desk had enough staff to assist customers. I liked the option of having a quiet side on the back side of the hotel, but didn’t tolerate the smoke in my room from the controlled burning.
The hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Dining was delish. When making a reservation over the phone, make sure to confirm the room type and beds. The golf course was in good shape, had punched greens. We wanted to have a pic infront of the Crab, but didn't realize it was on hole 3 kind of out of site. We stayed for two nights and had a very good time.
Beautiful accommodations! Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Casino is an added bonus. Food options were amazing!
We were in Port Angeles for the Crab Festival and needed a room. Haven't been in that area in about 5 years. Was surprised to see the new hotel attached to the casino. Booked a gorgeous room with AAA discount. The artwork in the hotel was so beautiful and of native style, high class for sure. Hallways were huge and light. We would stay there again if in the area. Plus 65 inch tvs!
