Real Authentic Korean BBQ with charcoal and amazing meat!! Of course, with many kinds of side dishes. They even had the bell system. Felt like I was in Korea!!! Soooo impressive!!! Lucky we have this restaurant ☆☆☆☆☆
The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was on par for other kbbq places we've been too. I love the smokey flavor you get with the way everything is cooked here. Very different compared to other places with gas stoves. I wish there were more options of meat for the AYCE choice, but overall it was satisfying. I would come back.
definitely a little pricey for (to me) a limited menu but the charcoal makes up for it. I'd definitely come back. it isn't my go-to though. I still prefer a variety when going ayce

we came on a mon , as a group of 2, around 12pm. the restaurant only had two tables occupied. we were immediately sat.

ayce: incl brisket, pork neck, seasoned pork neck, pork skin, pork belly, spicy pork belly, soy chicken, spicy chicken
not many options for me. basically just brisket.
we tried
brisket x8
pork belly x1
pork skin x1/2 (interesting texture.. very chewy, thick. almost gelatin like. tastes great with pork belly together in one bite)
if you want galbi (which is a crowd fave), you'd have to order the combos or order it separately :(
the charcoal makes the food taste 100x better than other kbbq places (making up for the lack of options included in the ayce menu). and I love the grill bc rhe oil from the fatty meats drips out so you still get that fatty texture from the meat but not an oily coated mouth
absolutely love that all the pieces of meat are sliced to perfection. the brisket is extremely thin- not too thick so it's tough, not too thin so there's no resistance to the bite. the pork belly is the same way- thick enough that there's chew but not too thick that I'm chewing for 5 years
the red bean sauce and the salt/sesame oil is delectable. eat the meat with the radish to cut the oiliness!

meng was phenomenal. she was pretty quiet/seems a bit shy. she gave us space to just have our own conversation, which was nice. she was very observant; brought us refills of radish and cheesy corn, without us asking (we loved those side dishes especially). she is also a fantastic cook with great timing. the meat would have a nice crust/char (not burnt), but not be overcooked/undercooked. it would just be al dente!

Went on Thanksgiving (yes they were open!). Had the galbi , short rib and pork belly. Dee-lish! With excellent sides such as kimchi, potato salad and washed down with soju beer. RECOMMEND.
We had the AYCE lunch BBQ on a Friday. The meat and side dishes were very good. The beef, pork, and chicken were tasty and seemed to be good quality. Our waiter was the most attentive that i have ever experienced in a Korean BBQ restaurant. The cooking is done with real wood coals brought to your table grill.
I used to go there a lot, but honestly, the size of the portions for the combinations compared to the price nowadays (Dec 2024) is not worth it. The size of the portions has been slowing shrinking over the past couple years (since around 2020), and recently they swapped out the rectangular serving platters with round ones (to decrease the surface area). Last time I got a combination, I ended up leaving not feeling satisfied. I wouldn't really have a problem with this if it wasn't for the fact that while portions are shrinking, prices are rising. The all you can eat deal is alright though- it's a lot pricier than other places but not many places have a charcoal grill, so I keep coming back. That's pretty much the only selling point to this place.
I went to 678 last night for my sister's engagement celebration dinner. There was a group of 6 of us and they accommodated us quickly. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The servers made sure that our bellies were full and did not rush us to leave. They wanted us to stay and enjoy our dinner. They had smiles on their faces while they were working so hard. We all had a great time, thanks to the amazing service and food at 678!!
We enjoyed our dinner and Korean BBQ experience at 678, trying new sides, watching the meat cook on the charcoal grill and eating the delicious food. Things to improve: replacing plastic water jugs with something better and using silver spoons instead of plastic ones.
