Best WLM Reviews

This pharmacy doesn’t dispense 3 months of some prescription medications only 1 month at a time causing people who travel long distances and times to get their prescription. This needs to be reviewed often to ensure this is really necessary. Also you cannot turn in paper prescriptions at the windows?? These problems are not happening at the Naval facility in Goose Creek S.C
I have never had any issues with getting my medications. Thank God my husband served so I can get my meds free.
This is the most unorganized overbooked base medical facility I've ever been to. Family Medicine front desk ladies are usually rude, and there has been several times that I've gone in for an appointment that I have even gotten reminders for and yet they tell me that they don't have my appointment and that I won't be able to see a provider for weeks. Find you, I already waited weeks for this appointment that they supposedly don't have anymore. The medication that I take every day is not allowed to be on auto refill so I have to see a provider in order to get them to refill it and half the time my medicine runs out before I can get more because they're so unorganized I can't actually even get seen. They book 5 to 10 minute appointments for each patient back to back with these providers which in effect allows no room for margin if anyone has a problem. You never get the same doctor because they're constantly being deployed or moved or are just unavailable. This is the worst medical care I've ever gotten. Even the referrals they put in our lazy because they don't do the research needed to make sure that they're correct and so you end up not even being able to use your referral because the place that they give you a referral for can't even do what they gave you a referral for. It's unbelievable.
The phone number listed doesn’t even get you to med group, just to a call center. Good luck getting anyone to return your call, more or less answers.
This place is a nightmare! I’ve had to stop taking birth control because they couldn’t get the prescription right. The front desk ladies are also extremely disrespectful and talk to you like you are dumb. Avoid this place at all costs!
The 628th medical group is the absolute worse. You go in for a visit it takes the PCM 30 days to put notes into your file for what you were seen for which delays your referral.
I went in for a visit Jan 4th. I am now finally getting my referral, almost 2 months later. I scheduled a follow up appt same day of my visit. Showed up for said appt and they said I never had one.
Got labs done 23 Jan still waiting for someone to call me to discuss the labs 23 Feb. called multiple times for a call back and I keep being told it’s 72 hr turn around time. Now I’m on day 11 still waiting.
This military medical facility is an absolute joke and I will be switching over to weapon station. Maybe 628th only care about airmen and no other branches because that is absolutely how they make you feel. Unfortunately, There is nothing good to say about this place.
Waited over 30 minutes on the phone to speak to a pharm tech to activate an electronic prescription needed soon. Got to hear a lot of Mozart tho. The tech finally was able to come on and was courteous and helpful. the manning of these pharmaciesseems inadequate, and The AF needs to reassess this. This type of wait is unacceptable- it is 1/2 hour wasted of the rest of my limited days!!. (BTW , I previously tried the QR code to ‘get in line’ a couple of times and it did not go through and caused a real delay.)
I appreciate the fact that you seem to be taking steps to upgrade your customer service efforts. However, my recent experience on 4/3/2019 to obtain prescription refills for my wife and myself were less than satisfactory. Even though I am retired military, I still work full time and it took me three hours to obtain two prescriptions for my wife and two for myself. Four scripts were sent in by our doctor, which for some reason, have to be activated before they can be filled. And I brought one in to wait on, which always takes more than an hour. Of the three for my wife, one was ready, one was "overlooked", she said, and one they said had to be ordered and would be available at a later date. I hope you will let me know when I can come back out there and pick it up. It also seems you are using volunteers to help out, I presume to lower costs. However the elderly lady that was trying to find my prescriptions was unable to use the computer system with out major delays and had to receive help three times in order to complete the transactions. I certainly hope you can make some further improvements. Thanks
