First time here. Excellent place to grab a beer on tap and enjoy some good food and company. The menu is heavy on green chili's, which I enjoyed thoroughly. Highly recommend the chili artichoke dip. So good. Good beer selection too. In addition to the 602 brand, they also carry several others on tap and bottle. Will definitely be back next time I'm rolling through Bastrop!
Had an excellent lunch, Ruben & crawdad chowder. Both were very tasty. Good selection of of beer, the 602 IPA was too strong for lunch so I opted for the Pilsner.
The pretzel appetizer was the bomb. Great Chuck of bread well flavored. I Ordered a steak medium and it came out Medium Well to Well. Good flavor none the less. The garlic mashed potato’s o hear so much about were disappointing. Dry, Luke cold and not a lot of flavor. Dinner salad was not cold and fairly sparse. Dining companion had a good amount of salad. Waitress was friendly and pretty attentive. Companions had shrimp and grits and loved it. A fair selection of beer but not a great selection. I’ll give the place another go when I return to Bastrop
My son and daughter in law had their rehearsal dinner at 602 Brewing. First of all, the space was PERFECT! With windows looking into the main dining area, it did not feel like a closed in space, which I really liked. We were able to see family and friends as they entered the restaurant instead of being tucked away in a corner. The two servers working our party were very attentive and so welcoming. They were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. The owner checked in multiple times as well… and even gifted the bride and groom with a beautiful, meaningful book. Again, above and beyond! As n dad I haven’t even mentioned the FOOD! We had a fajita buffet and it was DELICIOUS!!!! Don’t hesitate to book this place… or simply stop in for dinner! Everything about our experience was top notch!!

This place gives off that home style feeling. You come in and are quickly greeted with the sweetest hostess. The waitress are quick to take your order and offer up daily specials. The bartenders are all great and can make you up a fantastic drink with all your favorites. I come here all the time and love the atmosphere. 602 will always be a favorite hangout spot.
This place is perfect for a night out. The professionalism is fantastic and makes you feel taken care of. The food and drink is on point and you get to bring your fur babies here! It’s absolutely beautiful and so nice to have live local talented artists singing while in the company of good friends.
The new menu is amazing, especially Annie's Southwest Eggrolls. Ask about the daily special, they rotate some very tasty dishes. The bread pudding is a great way to end your meal.
They also brew their own beer, which you don't want to miss out on. They make a killer old fashioned as well.
Live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
I highly recommend.
