Best WLM Reviews
Would highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent location, friendly staff - especially the cleaning staff, clean & decent sized rooms for New York City.
We had a two double bed room with 2 adults and 2 small children, 3 large suitcases, backpacks, a stroller plus all the other bags required when travelling with small kids (nappy bag etc) and we managed to make it all fit comfortably. The beds were comfortable however the only downside was the pillows - too soft for our liking. The bathroom was clean and the shower a good size - water pressure was strong but very nice on your back.
We drove into Manhattan & I was anxious about the logistics of emptying the car and getting the kids inside the hotel safely. I realised had nothing to worry about upon arrival as they had a safe loading zone right outside the hotel. We were able to exit the car & get all of our luggage inside with the assistance of the Doorman and then our car taken to be parked by the Valet.
Also there is a delicious bagel shop right next door to the hotel which is handy for a quick breakfast.
Overall we had an extremely positive experience staying here and would definitely book again.
I highly recommend booking here! The location is fantastic—just steps from Central Park and conveniently nestled between a Starbucks and bakery. There are plenty of nearby dining options, and we enjoyed a nice walk back from a Broadway show near Time Square. The room was clean and exactly what we needed (and I’m very picky about this!).
What truly stood out, however, was the incredibly kind and welcoming staff. Having not visited New York City in many years, I found the city a bit intimidating at first, but the staff made a huge difference in our experience. I stayed the weekend of 11/16/24, and though I can’t recall their names, the daytime gentleman, the nighttime lady, and the bellman were all exceptional. Thank you—we’ll definitely be back!
For the price vs location, you get what you pay for. Decent hotel, the rooms are okay, a bit dated, and the staff are super helpful though the one chubby doorman who was just watching me hold a baby and lift a pram up the steps deserves minus 100 tips for lack of consideration and awareness. Chris and Daniel were great at reception for our needs. The location though is what merits 5 stars. Close the food places, mall, central park, times square. Fifth avenue, All within walking distance
This boutique hotel is excellent on location, great on comfort and on service. The drawbacks of this hotel are that the water pressure is almost too high, the elevators are a bit odd (one is roughly 3x5 feet) and the view we had was of a tube of brick walls with windows, nothing else. It did have a rooftop sitting area but no real views to speak of since the neighboring buildings are quite a bit taller.
Like I said, the location is excellent, the room was comfortable and the employees were amazing but for the price paid, I am quite certain I could find a better deal. Perhaps if the view was better or I paid less, the stay would have been more enjoyable.
Good hotel in an excellent location.
rooms were always very clean, the space was great for 1 person, in case of two people maybe consider an upgraded room if you wish to have more space.
This hotel is a great choice especially if you visit for work and your needs are basic.
I had no complains whatsoever and cleaning ladies as well as front desk were really polite .
The only things i would point out are - if you are sensitive to noise get your earplugs and you will be fine, and lastly wifi connection in the rooms is very slow unless you pay an additional charge.
I would definitely recommend it .
I really don't understand the 1 star reviews. I read them all and besides the people who had problems with the heat in the winter (we went in early Sept) they all seemed like NONproblems. So I booked anyways and I'm SO glad we did. Central location for a GREAT price. They were so accommodating to us when our flight was cancelled and our trip delayed a day. The hotel is nice and clean and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The hotel is right off the Subway line that took us everywhere we needed to go, didn't ever require switching lines. Definitely will be back!
Expectation and Reality check my photos attached ! We booked this hotel for 4 days because of the great location and beautiful photos ,but when we arrived we were confused because hotel it’s old and not tall big like on first photos(not fancy at all)!room small without good view ,plus we booked for 260$night but when we checked it were 1 night 260$ and 3 next days for 380$ without tax of course,no breakfast included no gym , valet parking 80$ keep in mind ! The restaurant it’s super good Blue Ribon sushi !
The room was nice for the price. It is in a central location, very close to a couple subway lines. However, the noise in the morning from the staff and other hotel members shutting their doors was very loud in our room. Also, there were no "do not disturb" door signs provided so we called down to the desk requesting we do not have any cleaning staff come through during our stay. The front desk person hung up quickly and apparently did not relay the message because our room was cleaned the next day. And that morning, we had to tell the staff not to clean our room before we got on the elevator. Wifi is very bad, but they offer "upgraded wifi" for a fee.
The worst part is there was no ventilation in the bathroom. No fan at all
