Cornbread alone was amazing, very sweet and almost like pound cake but very very good. The lunch specials are amazing value and the pan gravy is high quality. Love the hamburger steak, salmon, and steak isn’t bad. Sides are a little bland but would recommend mashed potatoes with gravy or their green beans which are amazing! Service wasn’t anything crazy but they were pretty kind. I also saw some maintenance guys and cooks working very hard in the back, definitely recommend coming here to watch NFL or NBA games!
My sweet potato fries looked over cooked but they weren't. They were very good. Maybe the best I ever had. My burger was also very good. It was hard to take a bite It was so tall. Before I went to bed I just wanted a little something, so I took a bite of my cold left over burger. It was so good even cold I had all I could do to not eat it all. We will be going back there. As far as prices I can't comment as our wonderful friends were treating us. I also forgot to take pictures of my friend's salad that she loved and our appetizers.
Victoria was sweet and quick personable. Beautiful plate with lots of fresh hot food . Delicious!

We had stopped here our first night in Kerrville. The place was empty for a Thursday night as we were only the second couple in the place. They seated us in a booth, close to the kitchen. I am not sure what was going on the kitchen, but you could hear them laughing, singling and horsing around. I ordered a steak with onion rings, which a side of shrimp. I asked for the steak rare and they brought to me medium rare. I was impressed that the steak was thick, as most steak places the steaks are cut really thin. The rice they had on the plate hardly had any flavor to it. The onion rings and shrimp were very good. The cornbread they bought out was amazing. It is just like the buttermilk cornbread that make at home. I had wished they had bought out more. The service here was excellent.
This place is a great little stop for dinner and was glad it was not crazy busy as we enjoyed our first night in Kerrville.
Hello, we visited this place yesterday night. Me and my family were looking for a nice restaurant to sit at and eat considering it was my girlfriends 21st birthday! I must say I was very impressed with not only the service, but food quality and drinks! The bartender came to our table and then recommended drinks to my gf and my family she was very polite as well but can't recall her name. Our server was also very friendly, I believe her name was Whitney? Anyhow, we were all very satisfied with our experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to sit down at and eat, or even drink!

Passing through on our way to Florida. This place is fabulous. Our waitress (Katie G) was fantastic. The food was delicious. We got the key lime pie for dessert. Yummy.
Valentine's Day 2023! First time at this restaurant. It was an okay experience. It is a large place, spacious, two different dining rooms split between a big bar. My husband's hamburger steak tasted like it had been cooked the day prior. My shrimp tacos were pretty good. I guess I would go back to try something different to eat. The best thing about the evening was the drink.
This location opened today, Nov. 1, and we were first in line for lunch. The interior is cheery, well-spaced tables, tasteful western touches and has booths as well as tables. The menu is not extensive but just enough to satisfy meat and seafood diners, and they do offer a special each day. The wine list is all from Texas wineries. The waitstaff were welcoming and helpful. Jessica waited on us and did an exceptional job, Complimentary warm cornbread is a great starter to the meal. Fun cocktail menu.
Now for the food: One of us had the filet mignon which was prepared perfect to order. Sides were garlic mashed and asparagus, both which were tasty and fresh. The other had the small 8-oz sirloin which was flavorful and perfectly cooked, Warning - butter tops the steaks so if you're on a diet, request it be served on the side Baked potato was good although I'm not fond of potatoes in aluminum foil. The side salad was surprising and had tomatoes, cheese, bacon bits, and greens - much heartier than the average salad.
There is an interesting dessert menu but who has room? Maybe we'll try an appetizer and dessert next time. As for pricing, you have to pay a goodly price for a meal of this quality - but it was worth it.
