Had dinner last nite.. party of three. The dinner purpose was for celebrating my belated birthday.
Our server was Scott and we all liked him.. he was helpful, attentive and friendly.
Love the place that has outdoor seating and have the bar inside and at the patio side. The place was busy.. probably because of the happy hour.
Great place for hang out for sure.
They have big menu, I had a hard time to choose because everything sounds interesting and delicious.
For the appetizer we had Thai grilled chicken lettuce wraps (wish they put more vermicelli noodles), banging shrimp, fried pickles and shellfish chowder and all these was good.
For our main dinner I ordered myself a plate of paella valenciana, my husband had lobster roll and our dad had Mediterranean salad. Also all these was good except my husband said the lobster roll was much better taste at Jersey shore but at this place was much lesser price.
For desserts we had Portuguese custard, key lime pie and apple cranberry crumb pie.. again desserts also was good.
By the way my husband really enjoy his blueberry hill cocktail ????
The only concerning for us was the parking sort of struggle to get a spot, like other reviews mentioned the parking space at this restaurant really minimal and only has 2 handicap.
Last thing was this place ever had jambalaya before? Because my husband swore that he saw it on the online menu a week ago before we made the reservation and he was really looking forward to have that for last night dinner but somehow it wasn’t on the menu at all.
Other than that our dinner was nice.
I've been coming here for years, amazing food they change and update the menu every so often. Specials are always good, and so are the drinks! The food has great variety so everyone should be able to find something they'd like. The service is always friendly and on top of things.

The food was delicious, parking was a little rough, but I got a spot in the main lot. Overall it was a good Valentine experience.
The biggest negative was that we only saw our waiter a couple times. If you didn't ask for something when food was delivered nobody was coming back. We saw the waiter when we ordered our app and drinks, then when the app came out and we placed our order, we didn't see him again until the food was brought out, finally we had finished our meal before he came back again. We were regularly without a drink, I'm not even talking about alcohol, water and soda. He was really nice and polite, I'm sure it's just too many people to 1 waiter.
I would recommend this location and will be back to try more of the menu.
Great venue for family reunion .
Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. Special event room was a perfect fit for our large party. Conversations were awesome. Staff was incredibly attentive,an an enjoyable evening was had by all. I’d recommend to have your next party corporate event or reception at this restaurant.
Great place to meet friends, grab some good food and drinks. We were seated immediately and given a big table for our party. The wait staff was very attentive. Food was great. I recommend the Calamari for an app and Fish and chips was a great meal. The price for the 8 of us was reasonable. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area. Typically not a fan of chain restaurants but this one is better than the rest. Definitely check this location out and enjoy a good time
Great food and attentive service! I've been to 59 Almshouse many times, but recently had the pleasure of hosting a networking event in their back room. The appetizers we ordered were fantastic, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The room was perfect for our event, and the servers kept everyone's glass full and drink tab separate. It was great, and I highly recommend. Photos are from our networking event!
