Our server was really nice. However, I think he was stretched thin between bartending and serving, so he didn't check in as frequently as we would've liked. We were left waiting to ask him for our check for over 30 minutes & he got drinks for the table next to us w/ no check in. He also got my partners fries wrong, which to his credit he did fix.
Update: 10:24pm, finally gave us our check after finishing our meal at 9:40pm. We had to ask our server twice. I'm waiting for a box and for him to come back with my receipt. He came back w/ my card to sign the receipt and no box and left, no have a good night or anything. Had to ask a different server for a box & he got it immediately for us which was very nice.
The fried pickles should've drained them better before they were served. They were incredibly oily (see picture). The sweet potato fries were devine as well as the drinks, the barbecue bacon burger was drier than the Sahara. The food is definitely overpriced.
I've gone twice now and both times was amazing. The food is LARGE and delicious and a great place to chill with friends without breaking the wallet!
The restaurant has an agreement with the funeral home across the street so diners can park. I wish I had known this before I parked so I wanted to include it in the review for anyone interested in trying a new place.
I found 551 West on a travel website that I use that recommends places when visiting new locations. The service was great and the waitress was really friendly and helpful in picking a burger from the menu.
The soup of the day was Teriyaki Chicken which sounded unique since I've never had it before, of course I had to try it. The first few bites were great but I started to notice it was more salty as I continued to eat.
I had the Peach Burger with garlic fries as my meal. The burger was cooked to perfection but the peach slices were too thick so the ratio was off (in my opinion) but it was still really good. The fries tasted great but were really greasy.
Lots of reviews mentioned their cheesecake so I felt obligated to try it. I got a slice of Snickers Cheesecake which was the flavor recommended by our amazing waitress. The texture was not a traditional cheesecake but the flavor was great. The slice was huge, like two and a half normal slices. As soon as I saw it, I had them pack it up to go knowing I couldn't finish it but that I'd have a fridge at the hotel, but I had a few bites while still in the restaurant.
First time here and experience was great. The chili is very good and came out the table quickly. Ordered the peach burger and pastrami sandwich, delicious, and chocolate orange cheesecake for dessert. Highly recommend stopping in for a great meal and a cold beer, nice selection.
My friend and I were from out of town and popped in 551 on a Monday night. Ash was our bartender. Let me tell you, she did not miss a beat. Super knowledgeable and honest, which I loved. Food was so good. We got fried mashed potato balls, wedge salad, chicken tenders with garlic Parmesan fries, and fish tacos. Everything was so good and I am pretty particular, so it is not common I feel this way. They had karaoke with Syd and we had THE BEST TIME. We will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon this place accidentally. We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. The bartenders name was Jimmy and he gave us the best service! He was so warm and welcoming. The bar had great atmosphere and fun music. The food was delicious as well! We would very much recommend the Mahi tacos and the wedge salad. I would totally come back here. It was such a pleasant surprise!
Really perfect all around. So sad I’m an hour away from this spot but glad I found it. Menu is fantastic, drink selection is great, burgers were EPIC (I got their famous burger with peanut butter, bacon and jalapeño), fries were A++. Service was the best I’ve had at any restaurant at any price point many times higher than this, in a long time. Music was a perfect playlist jamming along, on top of it all. Excited to return one day.
