Our second time here, appetizers and entrees tasted better this time but steak was still wrong. (I’ll describe it in my first time at this location below) We were pressured to pay by our waiter even though I was busy with the cake I brought in for my gf. I definitely shouldn’t have tipped 20% after that. Really killed the mood.
First time at this location was a year ago and it was a disappointment. Food wasn’t as good as a their other location and the steak came out rarer than asked. Asked for medium, got medium rare. (On our 2nd time
here 6/30/24, we ordered the same thing to see. Everything was better except the steak. Ordered medium well, got medium which is what we wanted from our first time at this location a year ago)
Tldr: The taste of the food is a hit or miss. They undercook their steak and our server pressured us to pay.
We won’t be coming back to this location.
For the large menu, this place isn't the worst chain restaurant around. Food, when consistent, has always been good, and the ambiance is comfortable and casual, making it suitable for a relaxed meal with family and friends.
The only issue is the consistency in food quality, and at times, service is slow. Re-evaluation of pricing would also enhance the overall dining experience. While my visit wasn't outstanding, it wasn't terrible either.
I ordered "no pink" in both of my burgers. Bit had pink! I asked for no tomatoes. My burger came with tomatoes and no onions. Once I got it home and actually cooked the burger to my liking it was good. I was in the pick up line for 22 mins. That's 32 mins after the time it said it's be ready for pick up. And ithe food was stone cold. I always have a fry or two on my way back home, but couldn’t even do that because of how cold it was.when the server brought the food out. He brought out four or five different orders, which tells me several of them were sitting there just waiting for someone to take them out. I won’t be revisiting this location.
Fast forward to 9/20/24 ordered AND PAID FOR 2 sides of fries. I've eaten in the restaurant and what I received was NOT 2 sides of fries. (See pic).
Great lunch special. Mara (server) was nice. Food was good.

I’m not from Kansas, but I do come to Kansas City for business. I’ve seen various food spots around Kansas City for years and remind myself to mark spots to visit. This is one of them.
I walked from my hotel and was greeted my a nice young lady who sat me at a booth. I decided I would rather sit at the bar.
The bartender was on her A-Game - as she was working to bar by herself. I can’t remember her name now, but she did mention being there for 15 years.
I ordered the Avocado Burger, Strawberry Margarita and Queso & Chips (correct name I can’t remember). The food came in a timely manner and it was delicious. The drink wasn’t too bad either. I think Bubba’s33 still wins the alcohol content awards though.
Anyways, some of the bar patrons were friendly and I was able to engage in friendly conversation. I watched the bartender interact with the other patrons. It’s appears she is well known and appreciated.
I read the reviews before leaving my own and fortunately I didn’t experience anything negative. Don’t let any negative review discourage you from visiting here. Life isn’t perfect and employees nor customers deliver 100%.

The place was clean and all of the fixtures and furniture seemed well maintained.
After driving several hundred miles with 2 dogs in tow, this place was incredible! We were there at 10pm and our food was ready at 10:15pm for takeout. We had a picnic in the truck. Sad it was our best meal in 2 weeks, but the food was all perfect! Protein bowl with chicken, veggies.. perfectly tender and seasoned chicken, amazing vinaigrette. Husband had the prime rib sammie with bbq beans & order of shrooms. Loved every bite! We had low expectations late at night, but absolutely will stop every time. Hats off to the bartender and cooks for excellent service and quality food!
Very yummy food. First time here, delicious burger and fries.
We had a great late dinner here. Wifey had been to a location in Arnold, Mo, and had decided on chicken salad.
I had the carne asada tacos. They were great, very tasty beef.
Wive paired potato soup with her sandwich and enjoyed it.
I had a couple of mods, easily handled by the nice waitress.
Very good will be back.
