Best WLM Reviews

We visited this restaurant twice on the same weekend. We enjoyed ourselves both times. We really liked the Smash Burger and the Havana Club. I don't normally comment on the sides, but their Coleslaw was unique and very good. The restrooms were also clean and well kept.
Terrible Experience at 54th Street Restaurant
We had a horrible experience at 54th Street Restaurant recently. From the moment we sat down in the bar area, things were disappointing. The tables next to ours where dirty and cluttered with leftover items, and nobody bothered to clean it during the entire time we were there.
We ordered a beer and a chicken sandwich to share, but on the very first bite of the sandwich, I nearly broke a tooth on something hard. Hoping it was an isolated issue, I tried again, but the same thing happened two more times. Frustrated, we stopped eating and waited for the server.
When we explained the problem, the server brought out the manager, who seemed completely disconnected from the dining area. He handed us a small cup and told us to place the foreign object inside so he could “show the company.” His demeanor was dismissive—he didn’t offer us any replacement or compensation beyond saying the sandwich wouldn’t be charged. Instead, he suggested we write down what happened in case we needed dental work, which gave us the impression he thought we were trying to scam for free dental care.
To make matters worse, he charged us for the beer. This felt incredibly petty given the awful service and our ruined meal. We paid the exact amount for the beer and left no tip, which is rare for us.
This visit completely changed my perception of this restaurant. I previously left a nice review after a decent visit last year, but I am now retracting it. This experience showed how poorly the restaurant is managed and how little they value their customers.
We won’t be returning to 54th Street Restaurant. The poor service, dismissive management, and lack of accountability were enough to ensure that.
Paid $21.00 for steak fajitas for myself. My husband got a chicken sandwich. Our bill was over $40. Anyway.. $21.00 for STEAK fajitas and I only got 4.33 pieces of steak that’s supposed to work for 4 fajitas.. plenty of peppers and onions.. super skimpy on the meat. ????????????
End up coming late at night and it was happy hour which is perfect! The food tasted good. The burger was perfect and the chicken tenders were fresh. My spinach and artichoke dip was cold when it came out so I did have to send it back to get rewarmed. My drink was weak and after check out I looked at my bill and they charged me $9 for my margarita but it said on menu it was $5 for happy hour. Did get my food in a reasonable time. Service was ok it was busy so you know how that goes
We had an amazing experience here. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive even tho she had multiple other tables and a big party. The food was phenomenal. Best meal we have had on our vacation. My husband got the French dip sandwich and I got the spinach and artichoke pasta. Everything we tried was delicious. We even had a manager come to the table to make sure everything went well because she had heard it was our first time there. We will definitely come back if we ever come back to the area.
Best one I’ve been too. Great service . Fresh food. Me and my family will definitely be coming back . Appreciate your services and hospitality !
Our server was wonderful and took great care of us. Our appetizer of tequila wrappers was very small for rhe price. Three tiny rolls cut in half. I got the buffalo chicken salad which was delicious. He got the half rack of ribs and chicken tenders. The tenders were very small as well. He said the ribs were delicious though. And his fries were seasoned perfectly. I forgot to take pictures right away but here's one of most of my yummy salad!
Food wasn't very good at all. Kind of pricey for what you get really. I had a club sandwich and fries. Hard to mess up. The club was the greasiest sandwich I've ever had and it has a strange, sweet sauce on it . My wife's pasta had the dryest chicken ever in it, and her tea was seriously just water with a lemon wedge. Even our server commented on it. Also, we had 1 waiteress for the bar and our whole section. She was working her ass off but having a hard time
