Haven't been in a while, but went back and the remodel is awesome. The open bar and stools are awesome. Bartender she is always awesome every time we go. The Southwest Wrap with asparagus and Chicken Grill Avocado were amazing. Can’t go wrong.
Stopped and ate as we have other times, but today was exceptionally good. I ordered the creamy parmesan spinach artichoke pasta. Came with chicken and shrimp and HOLY COW!! So good! Boyfriend got the gyro, said needs a bit more taziki sauce but not bad. The coleslaw is on a whole level of its own, some apples in there with a creamy sauce..WHAT GAME CHANGER!!!
Derek, our server, provided exceptional service. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. My grandson and I shared our meals, as Derek thoughtfully separated them for us. This gesture was greatly appreciated.
It's a very crowded place and rather pricy other than that it wasn't a bad experience. I will not be back $15 for a regular old cheesburger and fries. Nothing real special about it. $16 for my husband's tenderloin and fries. He said it was good. Service was good. We had one cocktail each, a margaritas and a strawberry lemonade with a shot of well vodka was $20.
First disappointing visit. My burger was ordered without pickles (I hate pickles), and with 2 or 3 bites remaining, I took a bite. Wouldn't ya know there's a pickle. Up until that point, it was a real proper burger with avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, and cheese cooked to damn near perfection.
The burger was taken off the tab. I did offer to pay for it as I had consumed 95% of it. I was also offered a dessert. Which I also declined. Not because I didn't want dessert but on principle. The meal was great until the pickle bite. I was not displeased until that moment. I am grateful that the burger was taken off the tab, so there was no need to also comp a dessert. Although the offer was very much appreciated. 54th Street still gets 5 of 5 on everything because they deserve it.
Rarely, does the wait staff get it wrong. Rarely does the kitchen get it wrong. And it is extremely rare to hear any significant complaints about a visit to 54 Street.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful and efficient. The ‘lunch portion’ was big enough that neither my husband or I could finish our food. The temperature and flavor of the food was GREAT and my fries were PERFECT. Only complaint was the bottom bun on my chicken sandwich was soggy. We were in and out in an appropriate amount of time and were really happy with the experience. Will go again for sure!
I did a pickup order where I parked in a super special spot and they come flying out the back door with my order..very friendly girl brought food out to me..and I drove home and ate it. It was good. I had the spicy fried chicken sammich..I ordered the hot buffalo sauce with it that comes on the side. I also had the onion rings which are onionusually good. Chicken very nice too. Great experience...never had a problem or bad meal here.
Made a stop here while travelling, to the chagrin of some of the children. By the time we left they were glad we did! Neat environment, polite and friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Food was very good and nice sized portions. Busy lunchtime, but didn't feel neglected for service. I had the Devils Den burger; less heat than I hoped for but did a nice job capturing the flavor of the reaper. This burger would be out of this world with some sauteed mushrooms on it! Wings are tasty and plump, heat is very tame. Kids opted for the bacon cheeseburger (sadly, without the egg) - giant and good - and the "Mac Daddy" and cheese. Bacon was excellent on both of these. Yuengling on tap is a nice bonus. We'll stop again next time we're passing through St Jo.
