Best WLM Reviews
First time at the 54,the best experience ever. Great place to go eat with friend, family or as a couple. I was amazed by the way all the staff(not only our waitress)taking care of the customers, always checking,I really like it! Also, like the large kid’s menu????????????????. The food is testy, good quality and good portions. We will be going there again, and I highly recommend Our waitress Valerie is the best⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️????
The food was good, when we got to order it. Waitress brought our drinks and appetizers, then disappeared for a while. We had to have another girl go get her. After that she was on top of our drinks and everything, just could have been more attentive in the beginning.
Been going to this 54th Street location for several years. Always a fine experience. Price is decent and we often have leftovers. Service is usually excellent and food is good. Tater Kegs are our favorite appetizer. Gyros and burgers are good. We especially like the Reuben and the Prime Rib French Dip. Salads are also nice. Music is sometimes a bit too loud for our personal liking, but we can work around it.
Ordered to-go from their lunch menu today, and the confirmation email stated my meal would be ready by 12:47. Got there a little early, understandably, it was not ready when I arrived. I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, it was ready almost 25 min after the time on my online receipt.
Got to my car, and decided to check before driving off. I opened it, and it didn't have any Veggies for the sandwich, even though it clearly stated on the container, "Garden on side."
Took it back inside, and the Hostess took the container to the back, came back empty-handed, and said the manager was taking care of it. Had to wait another 5 min or so.
For the inconvenience of having to wait and then go back inside because of the missing items, the Chicken Sandwich was not worth the wait. What's worse is it was during my lunch hour, so i didn't even have the time to enjoy it since I just scarfed it down.
Not sure if this is intentional, so it deters people from taking food to go vs sitting down and being waited on.
I’m a mature adult and my usual is the Mac Daddy. Don’t judge. It’s a delicious combination of “macaroni”, chicken, bacon, and cheese with some garlic bread. The waffle fries here are THE BEST fries on the planet. The Gringo Queso dip is of course great as well.
Can't lie the food was good the drinks weren't week and the service was on point. Two people in my party have the rattlesnake pasta and said it was great front the appearance for my fellow New Yorkers it looked like Rasta pasta. I had the rib eye with Mac and cheese rib eye was well seasoned and the Mac and cheese was creamy.
I came here on 5/24/24
This place is like a vintage museum. Everywhere you look, there are pictures of actors, ball players, singers etc.. and hanging vehicles, animals and a bunch of other stuff. It is definitely a wow factor when you walk in! I was looking forward to trying the Tator Kegs, which are giant Tator Tots with bacon, cheddar, and Chives in them. I ordered them and got the cheese sauce and ranch with them. They came out hot, and they were light, crispy, and airy. They were soooo good! I ordered The Chicken Madeira with the Asparagus on the side because I did not want it on top of my Chicken. That dish was very tasty as well! I usually get the Chicken Madeira at Cheesecake Factory all the time because it's always a hit for me. My boyfriend got the Rattlesnake Pasta which looked tasty too. I'm definitely visiting when I go back to San Antonio.
Great family restaurant. My son loves coming here and we love the food and the decorations. They sometimes make mistakes, but their staff and management are great at making sure you’re satisfied with your meal and that you had a great experience. We’ve been coming for a while and definitely plan on coming back repeatedly.
