Best WLM Reviews
The portions are large, the food was nicely plates, the flavor not impressive but tasty, and the service friendly but some of the servers were arguing next to our table when no one brought my drink out. They offered a discount for Veteran's Day so we went. My husband had the salmon and he said it was good. I had the ribs and the sauce tasted like liquid smoke and not the Texas hickory I was expecting. The sweet potato fries had a celery (Old Bay?) infused seasoning which killed the sweetness of the potatoes. Didn't get to they the tenders but they looked appealing. Overall, now that we know what to expect, we would come back. Try to sit in the smaller tables away from the six seaters because some people are just loud and rude, forgetting there are others around. The Mezcal Margarita was not good.
I ordered the nachos and requested both ground beef and chicken. My wife ordered the rattle snake pasta. We started with calamari. Portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. The pasta had a good spicy bite, like a rattle snake. We always plan to take half home for leftovers. This is becoming one of our go-to places.
Stopped here for dinner tonight with the family. Happy hour runs until 6pm and they have good deals on many appetizers and drinks. My wife and I each had large draft beers and several appetizers to share. All were super tasty, if not a little salty. The tater kegs were our favorite of the bunch. Our server was quick and friendly, and the food came out quick and hot. The beer was nice and cold! The restaurant itself has a lot to check out on the inside for sure. All in all a great dinner experience.
I personally wouldn't give 54th street any credit simply because of my latest experience there. Tonight, me and my family had gotten takeout there — curbside. We had already been there 30+ minutes after placing our order; of which the lady said that they'll call when the food is ready. Not only did they not call, we had to call *them* to see if our order was done. Which we ended up finding out that our order has already been done and has been sitting out for possibly more than 10+ minutes, which meant our food was half-cold but we decided not to discuss the issue further because we already decided to go on our way since our home was about twenty or more minutes from the location so it would be a hassle to wait longer or go back.
But when we did decide to eat the food at home, it was alright at best. The gringo dip was okay, but not as expected. As for the burger, we had specifically said well-done/not pink yet there was a lot of pink signifying that the burger was undercooked and they weren't listening to our order properly.
Though the only reason it isn't completely horrible is that the manager did end up saying that he'll talk to corporate and they will compensate us for our cold food.
(Also not adding my order name, or any personal details simply because of privacy.)
Good food, casual like Cheddars but better quality. All American.
Service was exceptional and attentive (good service makes the food taste better), food was spot on and our drinks were great. Place had a nice decor which provided a good feel (comfortable.) Definitely gonna suggest a guys night out with my friends, or just refer to coworkers and business partners.
Food is always excellent! Our favorite place to visit when we are on vacation.
The service, food ad atmosphere were great. I had the loaded Nachos with chicken, drizzled with BBQ sauce. My wife had the loaded potatoe soup and half chicken salad sandwich. Both were most excellent! The interior decor is fascinating ????
