If you're on I-90 in Montana you've gotta stop and check this place out. They have all kinds of souvenirs to choose from. The bar serves a pretty good drink, and the restaurant has some delicious food. I've had the Buffalo and Elk burgers a number of times, highly recommend.
Along hwy 90 in Montana. Pretty cool place you have to stop and see. It's way over 85K in silver dollars now. The displays are great, it's actually hard to believe! Haven't ate there but they have great ice cream. The gift shop has everything from soup to nuts. Best deals on quality sweat shirts ect. A lot of things you probably haven't seen since you were a kid. We stop bye every time we go by.
For what it is, I felt it was a fun little side quest for us. We needed to eat and get out of the car and stretch our legs. It was fun to walk around the gift shop and check out the fun items and oddities that you could purchase. The gift shop had some great hand crafted jewelry and beautiful leather purses. The cashier was very sweet and funny. The food was what you would expect. The bar was a fun vibe. The 50,000 silver dollars hanging all over was actually really cool.
The bathrooms were a little scary, though. My kiddo mentioned that in the men's bathroom, one of the stalls was clogged, and feces were on the toilet seat, and it was pretty dirty throughout the entire bathroom. The ladies' bathroom needed some help and repairs as well.
But if you're not picky and want to stretch your legs, stop in for a quick bite and meander through the gift shop.
Had so much fun staying here. The service was great the people were awesome! The cooks at the restaurant got my steak perfectly rare both times! They were awesome! 100% recommend stopping here on your way through.
We accidentally passed the exit and went the extra 6 miles to the next exit to turn around and come back. That was a very good choice because the items they have for sale are unique, very diverse selections (something for everyone), and the prices were reasonable. I recommend this as a must see stop... and, if you accidentally pass the exit, it's worth the effort to double back.
Have passed by several times, but stopped for first time today, in spite of several bad reviews. Decent food, friendly waitress, quick service, AND free EV charging while we ate. A level 2 charger (2 available), so I wasn't expecting much. But extended my range by about 15% for FREE! Great incentive to stop every time we're traveling by.
I make it a point to stop by here every time I drive by, such a fun place! They have a great collection of boutique items, a very cool bar, and the restaurant is good too! I've never stayed in the lodge, so I can't give feedback on that, but I love to shop there ????
This review is only for the "resturant" when we sat down there was maybe 2 other families. As the time passed more came. We ordered quickly and got our drinks. After that we wait an hour and 45 min for food and it was mediocre at best. The ONLY reason we stayed was because the waitress was so nice. It was also very warm in the building. I would go to the gift shop again but NEVER the "restaurant" be warned.
