Best WLM Reviews
First time here for dinner and loved it! We sat by the floor-ceiling windows for a beautiful view of the moonlit ocean. Service was great, Julie and Glen were super friendly! Enjoyed the delicious flatbread, salmon and snapper. Ambience was fine dining, nice decor. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at 50 Ocean this week and it was amazing! Our server, Brenden, was the best. He even brought us out celebratory glasses of champagne which was super thoughtful. The food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere! Next time we are in Delray we will definitely be eating here again.
This venue has one of the best views in Palm Beach County. Service is consistently good, customer service outstanding, and food is fresh and delicious.
The hostess and manager were professional and so kind.
The server Isaiah was exceptional in every regard!
I highly and without reservation recommend this restaurant to all!
Although food was good, our experience was not what we were hoping for at all. Reservation was made to celebrate my birthday today. Within a few minutes of sitting our server, who didn’t have any type of greet, started asking us for drink orders. Throughout service he was very flustered and clearly sweating. I ordered a wine off the “by the glass” menu and was told they no longer serve it, and hadn’t for a while. Yet it’s still listed on the menu. Once server came back with my second option wine, we told him we were ready but was never made aware of specials off menu. We had no clue about them until he graciously told the table behind us (without them asking for specials). Come to find out there’s a twin lobster tail dish off menu, which was exactly what I was looking for to enjoy this evening. I had already ordered scallops, so of course this was upsetting and we had already been waiting for main courses for a while so I didn’t want to ask about specials/change what I ordered. Lastly, there was NOTHING mentioned about my birthday or even a birthday dessert offered. I ordered the Key lime pie in a jar, and my boyfriend even asked for them to at least add a candle which they still failed to do. I feel awful because my boyfriend was very excited to take me out and treat me for my celebration, and we’re both leaving highly disappointed.
We had brunch here on Sunday. We walked in and were accommodated. The views are great. The ambiance and service are top notch. I had bottomless mimosas and my glass was never empty. Next time I want to try the Bloody Mary bar because it looks fun. We had lobster bisque - it was amazing. Lobster avocado toast had big chunks of lobster in it. The quiche lorraine was served with breakfast potatoes and greens and it was scrumptious. The chopped salad was fresh and the dressing was tasty we added lobster and they did not skim. We also ordered bacon covered in chocolate and beignets for dessert. The bacon was crispy and sweet, it was so mind blowing. The beignets we super fresh, warm and tasty. Overall this place is a must try!!!
What happened to this restaurant? Years ago it was wonderful In every way. Now, sat with my wife Saturday night and waited 20 minutes and no one came to the table even to give water. Restaurant was 1/2 empty. The manager walked by and I called for him. He ended up being our server for the night. The bar had 3 new bartenders that knew little of their inventory. Food was blah- fish overcooked and came with zero garnish on the plate. Pasta dish with shrimp did not match the description at all aside from shrimp and pasta- sauce was strange with meat in it! Not as described. . Very disappointing, but things do change and not always for the better.
Had a fabulous dinner here. Waitress and manager were AMAZING. The food was on point. We came with our baby and they were all more than accommodating. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend!
Getting through the bar district of Delray Beach to get to A1A was a 15-20 min bumper to bumper traffic. We were un aware of the valet parking behind the building. So finding a parking on A1A was nothing short of a nightmare. A 5 minute walk wasn't bad to the resteraunt, but the weather was pleasant. It just added another 15 minutes of aggravation to the trip. I guess we are more of a Morton's Steakhouse couple. The view of the beach was not worth the extra hassle. The food was very good and the portions were plentiful. Which they should be for the prices charged. I have had better steaks and scallops at Morton's and Capitol Grill. The restaurant was nice and quiet untill about 6pm. Then it got extremely loud. It was difficult to have a conversation with the other guests at a 6 place table. Would I try it again????? Yes, I guess....possibly a week night, or afternoon.
