Went to get yuca cheese balls (they’re the best I’ve had) I drove all the way from FR Rockaway. They didn't have enough so I waited 10 mins for them to fry some. When I got home realized what they had put in my bag was carrot cake. I understand mistakes happen & I should’ve checked my food before I left. But when I called to let them know since I live too far to go back, the girl was super dismissive and rude about it & I was honestly just letting her know so they can pay attention next time. $12 for 4 yuca balls wasted. Lost me as a customer respectfully ????

I walked in to buy a piece of cake and the lady at the register in the front (has a tattoo on her left arm) treated me and my friend with the worst attitude. Literally just created this account to leave a feedback because it’s a lovely place with yummy food but with a HORRIBLE worker. Whoever owns or manages this place should know this.

All their pastries look fresh and so delicious, so many options to choose from. Definitely try the tres leches & the cinnamon roll, it was my absolute favorite. I would skip the flan.

Located on Broadway in New York City this spot is a leading Bakery in Washington Heights! I walked in there and said to the lady what am I getting today and she said without hesitation dulce De Leche Cheesecake! Let me tell you something everyone eating it was like an out of the body experience! Truly one of the best Cheesecakes I ever had. Ive been back since a few times or so, maybe a dozen! Who am I kidding I'm there 5 times a week!

here, amazing decorations and flavor. When I’m local in the area their Ban de Bono is a must have. My girls love their hot sandwiches and chicken fingers with fries. Can’t say anything by wonderful things about 5 Estrella Bakery 10/10
Delicious quipes 100%, their sandwiches get the job done but, their tres leches although flavor wise is yummy, it is far too dry to be considered a tres leches. Please add more milk to it and it’ll be great ????

got the carrot cake, yuca fritter ball, pan de queso, raisin roll ( similar to a rugelach).
carrot cake is more like a super moist pound cake.
yuca fritter and pan de queso are v good. the pan is baked w awash of egg yolk so it has a hint of sweetness to it. very reminicent of asian bakery breads.
will definitely be back to try more
