We stayed one night at Plymouth 49rs campground, and were quite disappointed. The girls at the checkin booth were great but the campground itself was sad. Washrooms were very old and not well kept, showers didn’t work in the ladies room and in desperate need of upgrades! For 80$ a night we were hoping for better!
It seems 75 percent of the campground is permanent live ins and all kinds of household items laying around! I can clearly see why the campground does not belong to Good Sam club anymore, would not meet there standards!
49er was great! We stayed here for the last weekend of the summer before the kids went back to school. We were advised on our arrival that the site I picked was in full sun, and we were moved to “Shady Lane”, site 18. We spent most of the time in the pool, it was a hot weekend. The flies were pretty bad, but apparently this is not normal and it was just after the county fair ended (fairgrounds is right next door). Full hookups, nice little store with ice cream and coffee, we will have to come back when the weather (and flies) is a little better. I added a handful of 360 photos to show the place off, and I’m working on a street view of the campground. Will be back!
I've done service for some of the residents RVs in this park and every time I come it's always a pleasure. Very clean, well sized lots, and everyone always seems friendly. Defiantly a park I'm excited to go to when I get a service call.
I was a bit surprised this is a Sun Property. They generally are very nice!!! I’ve never stayed at one that allows full time living & quiet hrs are not until 11pm with kids running around, driving golf carts … kids being kids but that late ????. The area we are in is dry & without any irrigation. When I went into the office, they had 3 people working & not 1 looked up or even acknowledged me. One person finally said they’d be with me. Disappointed & will not return or recommend.
We used to go there when our kids were young. Decided to visit as we wanted to take our new trailer out somewhere close.
What a disappointment. The grass is brown, the restrooms were not cleaned once while we were there, the garbages were full to overflowing when we arrived.
2 pools, 1 used to be for children the other adults, now it's a free for all. Plus tons of little children in the hot tub with squirt guns.
I know they rent to full timers which is fine, but they should have to abide by the same rules as guests. So much garbage and debris on sites.
Nope won't be going back. Pictures are of our next door neighbor, a full timer.
Well. Where to start.
Dry grass, no kids pool like advertised.
The staff at the main office are just simply rude.
Not to mention that place holds the most racist people that I've ever met in my life.
So far and just not worth it...
My company delivered some RVs here for Halloween camping this year. Amazing service and it looks like people were having such a fun time, especially all the kids!
We quite literally have the worst space in the whole place. It is unkempt, uneven ground, no picnic table and full of dog and cat poop. The “park” has numerous open spots, any one of which they should have suggested we move to when we arrived to check in. We picked a space from the online map, sight unseen, not knowing any better. We did not want a space next to the dirty stagnant water because we (rightly) anticipated ducks. Some spaces are quite decent, although small- everyone is right on top of each other. This place has a large number of full-timers that make it feel like a run down trailer park, instead of a clean safe place. There are stray cats everywhere.|There have been 2 saving graces- first its location. It centrally located for exploring the foothills. Second, they employ a very nice maintenance worker who stopped by to see if we needed anything. He looked at the site and said- I’m surprised they rented this one, it needs a lot of work. He then offered to clear the weeds near the spigot. His kindness and great customer service made the weekend much better.
