It was our second time dining here for lunch. We wanted to try the pulled pork burger. I gave three stars for the taste of the food, the service and the atmosphere. They were all good. But the pain point was about the price and the quantity of the food. With the quantity given, it was overpriced. We ordered the pickles and it cost $4 something but it came out just the amount of the side that came with the platter. The Brussels sprouts was good. Overall is good if you are looking for a great space to hang out and chat under the nice sun. The staffs are great. But again it is a little overpriced.
We had an awesome meal at 4505 Burgers & BBQ! Tried the brisket, smoked chicken and meat, ribs, and corn ribs, and every bite was packed with smoky, tender flavor. The sides were just as good—beans, fries, and the chicken salad really rounded out the meal. I also enjoyed a nice IPA that paired perfectly with the BBQ.
You’ll be sitting outside, which gives it a cool, laid-back vibe, and they have heaters to keep you cozy, so no worries if it gets chilly. The place had a great atmosphere, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re craving some solid BBQ in San Francisco!
If you’re looking to get a taste of barbecue, this is your new go to place. The rib platter was good and tender, I feel like the flavor could’ve been a bit better and definitely more saucy. They were a bit dry.The brisket fries are definitely amazing. Lots of flavor and nice fatty meat if that’s what you like! They have outdoor seating and when it gets chilly. They also have the heaters that they turn on as well. It’s in a really nice area and lots to do nearby so you won’t be disappointed with the vibe with the ambience of the place either. it definitely gives country cookout and that’s what I love.
I've been to 4505 2 times. The first time was great, I ordered the brisket with the fried Mac & Cheese. Last night, I ordered a burger, but the burger was medium rare. If the standard for your burgers is medium rare, that's fine, but let the customers know. You can't assume everyone eats meat medium rare. After getting home, my girlfriend mentioned her meat was red. I opened mine and the same result. I drove back to 4505 and asked for another burger because I don't eat my burgers medium rare. The skinny guy with glasses at the register was a jerk at first and decided to grant our remake. I asked politely if my fries could get replaced because I just drove over to replace an order that wasn't cooked to how I consume food. He said no because he is already giving me 2 burgers. My guy, you're not giving me anything because I just paid $65 for food. If you guys ask, "How would you like that burger?" Maybe you could have 2 patties for 2 new customers. After I offered to pay for my fries, he told the cook to add 2 fries as well no charge. The remake burger patty was hard, overcooked, and the bun was harder than the last burger bun. Just because someone asks for well done doesn't mean burn the meat. Wasn't happy with the burgers at all. The brisket was good, but i wasted money on those burgers. Overall, this place is not a good spot, just a restaurant in a perfect area for customers. Another manager there was very nice to me and my family. He greeted us when we first arrived and gave my kid 2 free cookies. Thanks much. The place is still worth a visit, but you may not go back for a 2nd or 3rd visit. I just had to tell my experience so you guys could start asking how customers like their burger cooked.
First time eating this style of BBQ - every meat cut we tried was excellent and so were the sides! Definitely go for the brisket and corn on the side. I'm on a short trip in SF however I plan on coming at least once more
Only here for the Pozole ???? I want and need the recipe ASAP. It’s ????????????️????????delicious!!! I wish they served larger portions for the cup of pozole, would hoard it at my home. Yum. Everything else was good, not great. Loved the rolls and pozole the most.
Parked on the street one block down. Came with a massive salad bowl. Just across the road from a dog park and painted ladies so made a great stop on our trip around the city.
Great food, great bbq. Love the chicken wings which hot topic, aren't always written on the menu but are available if asked for. All the sauces are yummy and the outdoor vibe matches the energy of the spot. Local fave!
