I recently enjoyed a fantastic brunch at 417 Union and had a delightful experience. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and the service was top-notch throughout our visit. I started with a refreshing peach bellini, followed by the prime rib hash and lemon blueberry pancake—each dish was delicious and well-prepared.
The restaurant has a charming old-school vibe that made us feel right at home. Although we initially parked about two blocks away, we noticed a convenient paid parking lot on the side of the building, which is a great option for future visits.
Overall, the food was excellent, and I look forward to returning. Highly recommended for a cozy and enjoyable brunch experience!
The lemon blueberry pancakes were amazing!! The iced chocolate mocha was so good even though it was cold outside. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes they serve. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I'll definitely visit again.
Friendliness and service were outstanding. The decor was interesting and nostalgic. Breakfast was delicious. I had great scrambled eggs cooked perfectly, a big warm biscuit and the mixed berry jam was SO good! Take a jar home - I wish did (!) The coffee was mild (good) and the prices were fair. This is the type of place you leave smiling.
Found this place when we randomly stepped outside to get some breakfast on a weekend. We were told that there would be a 20 min wait but we were seated quickly in 8 mins. It's a breakfast place with a bar vibe, which I thought was pretty cool. Even though the menu does not cater to the typical omelette, pancake, skillet etc options, they do have a bit of everything. The prices are a little towards the higher end but it does make up for the quality and quantity you get. Everything was so good. The pancakes were the right amount of fluffy and sweet. The biscuits were clearly one of the best we had. Our server also did a great job incorporating all our substitutions. Overall a great place to try out. Do try their house made jam.
Excellent breakfast and Mike was awesome! He had such an amazing sense of humor and we never had to ask for anything he was there with coffee, water etc. we ordered the big breakfast with 3 eggs any style, ham, bacon, sausage, biscuits and potatoes as well as the eggs anyway which also had 3 eggs bacon biscuit and grits. Both come with amazing in-house mixed berry jam they make weekly and the biscuits are the closest to my mother’s homemade biscuits I’ve ever had. Fantastic!! The poached eggs were on point and cooked to perfection. All the meats were great. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy were the grits. They were lukewarm, no flavor and underwhelming. Not like the grits my mother used to make lol. Overall an excellent place for breakfast and I highly recommend it. Bill came to $50 plus tax for two breakfasts and two coffees.
Found this little place for breakfast recently and loved it. It was very busy on a Monday morning and the service was excellent…. I enjoyed my eggs and would recommend this place to anyone that loves a good breakfast ????
We live in Smithville and came down for a night in Nashville to see the Preds game. This morning we had the pleasure of dining at 417 Union. Our service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Michael with an infectious smile and a warm, welcoming personality. He instantly made us feel like we’re the only ones in this busy gem of a restaurant, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and humor.
What stood out the most was his impressive menu knowledge. When we were unsure about what to order, Michael took the time to make some recommendations tailored to our tastes. His enthusiasm about the food was contagious, and it was clear he truly cared about our dining experience. The Prime Rib Hash and Blueberry Lemon pancakes were amazing!
Throughout our breakfast he checked on us just enough to ensure everything was perfect. His witty sense of humor was fun, and it is so evident they he has a genuine passion for providing top-notch customer service. Thank you Michael for a fabulous experience. We will be sharing you and our experience with our friends.
417 Union is a Nashville brunch gem. We had a group of 8, and while there was a bit of a wait, it was totally worth it. The biscuits were amazing—flaky, buttery, and perfectly soft—and the bacon was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the food is top-notch. If you're in Nashville, this spot is a must-try!
