I drove 30 minutes to try this place. Next time I’ll drive an hour. Definitely in the top three barbecue joints I’ve ever been to. And I cannot name one I liked more. I had the brisket, jalapeño sausage and ribs. I generally order extra lean, but I forgot and ended up with a really good cut of lean meat with a little fat on the ends. Normally, I would spit out any fat, but I loved it. The sausage was good, but I would’ve liked it to be spicier. Really tremendous potato salad and the best baked beans I’ve ever had. Also, the portions are large. I’m not gonna lie, it’s not cheap, but quality barbecue cost money. If you’re a barbecue fanatic, you owe it to yourself to try this place. I came in off hours so it wasn’t crowded. I would expect peak times this place is packed. Huge menu if just meat just isn’t your thing.
For me the 407BBQ has always been the best hands down which I have tasted. The taste is always consistent. I always try the pork ribs, brisket, jalapeno cheese sausage. The dry rub has the right balance of pepper and salt . The brisket always melts in the mouth . The other two side items I always order are the brussel sprouts and fries okra, which is amazing. Fridays are the days I choose to go for also getting their beef ribs , off the bone , with the right dry rub. The service is energetic, positive and welcoming. A ' have to visit again' place.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I have traveled the world and back and just had the best Ribs and Mac N Cheese I ever had! Kicker is the soda machine is calibrated perfectly, as well! I love the ambiance of the place! There is plenty of seating. I get the feeling we were very fortunate to have visited on a Thursday at 2:15 pm because there was no wait at all. After experiencing their outstanding food, I have no doubts there is a wait if you visit during regular meal times on the weekends.
I would wait in a hour long line to eat here, again! Wow! (Did I say that already?)
I am writing this from the hospital. I got food poisoning from the potato salad on Saturday 12/14/24. I started having diarrhea within 6 hours of eating there and then started vomiting within 12 hours. Became extremely dehydrated from liquid diarrhea and intractable vomiting and went to the hospital Sunday morning. I should be able to be released tomorrow, so I will have been hospitalized for 3 days. I am a healthy 36 year old. Don’t eat here.
All hype! I wasn't impressed with anything they had here. This reminds me of when I was in college and the closest thing to eat, would be a place like this; dined due to logistics. The syrup for their soda machine, needed to be changed; not enough.
The have an intercom system to call your name, for when your food is ready, but due to the reverb you can hardly hear it. People hover around the area where you go to pick up your food.
Buc-ee's has a better system and more flavorful food. The mac/cheese tasted bland, brisket was okay, pulled pork was dried out and the beans were subpar.
The only thing that had flavor, were the Hawaiin rolls. Save your hard earned money!
Tried this place for the first time and was totally impressed! The service and ordering was easy, and the friendly staff behind the registers were so helpful! We ended up ordering the Jumbo Family Meal and it was AWESOME! WE got to have a taste of everything including delicious sides!! Try the green beans and cheesy mashed potatoes! The brisket was out of this world, and so was the vanilla cream soda! Everything was beyond delicious. This meal fed 4 adults and 2 kiddos with lots of leftovers to spare! Loved that you could eat outside if you want! Plenty of room. We didn't know what to expect and we were definitely not disappointed! Prices were very fair for the amount and quality of food served! The owner even made sure we enjoyed our meal! So nice, which means a lot! I highly recommend this gem of a bbq!
Easily a new favorite bbq spot! Not only are the meats good, the sides are amazing, & the soda selection is unique and was perfect. Indoor & outdoor dining options were very clean and spacious. Can’t wait to go back!
The best brisket in my life! Super moist and tender. Also pulled pork and jalapeno&cheese sausages were delicious! Highly recommended!
