Okay. Sometimes, even a blind hog will find an acorn if he roots around enough. This place is a gem. Just inside the Oklahoma boarder on the east end of I-40. I typically am not a fried catfish type, but I saw a plate of it pass me, and it looked great. Looks can be deceiving, but this time? Spot on! Wow! Best catfish i have ever had! I had my friend try it, and they were amazed at how much it tasted like their own! Another big plus was the massive amounts of food. Look at these pictures and see what ya think!
I'm a truck driver & this is the second time I've stopped here. The first time was a few years ago. There's a truck stop across the street associated with the casino. So it makes parking very convenient for those of us driving an 18-wheeler.
I decided to go with the 1/2 fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese, and slaw. Everything was good. Service was friendly, and they even had Christian music playing on the speakers. It's definitely a place worth stopping if you're in the mood for some good, homestyle food. ????????
Impressive little diner, they earned a coveted 5⭐️review. The service was friendly and excellent. My hot beef sandwich was really good as were the onion rings. My dad loved his entree too.
Wonderful wonderful food! Biscuits were soft, hot, and delicate fall apart in your mouth watering delicious! The chocolate gravy was very yummy! Hailey was a great server very friendly ???? highly recommend. I will say the hash browns could have been more crisp but that was one for not asking. Prices are very affordable!
Found this cute local diner when in the area for work. Everyone was super friendly. My order came out quickly and the server was attentive without being overbearing. Everyone seemed happy to be there.
First time here! I have been hearing about this place for a while! It was amazing. A must!
The food here is very mediocre at best. If you are a smoker or elderly person whose taste buds have diminished, this may be perfect (no disrespect intended to the elderly), but I've cooked TV dinners at my house that were higher quality! Instead of spending so much on billboard advertising along the interstate, why not use some of that money to increase the quality of the food! I've never been to a restaurant that was so over-hyped! However, the waiting staff was great, just bad food ????.
My two companions and I had a wonderful meal today at the Four Star Diner! It isn't very quick. But the food and the service made up for it! I had the chicken fried steak sandwich, another had the double cheeseburger, and last but not least, loaded fries! My sandwich was fresh and hot. The chicken fried steak was wonderful! The cheeseburger also disappeared, and the flavor was said to be excellent! And the loaded fries were numerous, and every fry was touched with goodness!
