It is one of the best shareable restaurants I have tried. Everything we ordered was 5 star quality. I was so full but it was delicious and I wanted to keep eating!
Yum on all accounts! The only downside is it is pretty pricey. However, the bottomless mimosas on Saturdays 11-2 are hard to beat at only $12. One side of the menu is shareable tapas and the other side is full meals. I absolutely loved the avocado blackened shrimp bites. Everyone loved what they ordered. The service is quick, and it's a good place for a larger group because they take reservations. Highly recommend!
I was visiting for business in La Crosse and heard great things about this place. Went there alone and the service was slow, but wine and food was good when I got it! Recommended the place to my colleagues the next day for lunch and wow! HORRIBLE SERVICE! We stood at the receptionist desk waiting to be seated. There were two employees at the bar who clearly saw us and made no attempt to come over. When the guy finally came over, he he offered no greeting... nothing! Just a crasp. "How many?" When our waitress came over, we ordered a diet coke, gin and tonic, and a glass of cab franc. Took forever, and the place was not crowded. If that guy was the manager...you need a class on hospitality! IF YOU GO, I HOPE YOU GE TREATED BETTER THAN ME AND MY COLLEAGUES!!! They really treated us with contempt, and I feel horrible for recommending the place to my colleagues! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!
I have heard wonderful things about this place and I finally got to try it out. We enjoyed the stuffed peppadews, carnitas platter, and the bacon wrapped chicken. There was a small issue with one of our dishes, but our server was very quick to fix it and that was nice. Food was delicious, and the cocktails were super cool and tasty! Would love to come back and try more.
My husband and I were in La Crosse this weekend and decided on 4 Sisters for tapas. We got there for a late lunch and even though it was very busy, we were seated on the patio right away. We decided to sit outside because the talking inside was very loud and my husband and I wouldn’t have been able to converse. Although the music on the patio was not necessary, in our opinion, we could at least talk over it.
We were greeted and brought waters and my husband ordered a beer. For tapas we decided on the stuffed peppadews, bang bang nachos with carnitas, the chorizo stuffed dates, and the ahi tuna bites. We thought the food came out very fast!! The peppadews were sweet with a little kick complemented by the goat cheese. They were a great little bite. The dates were a bit heavy for a hot day but tasty nonetheless. Again, well-balanced. The ahi tuna bites were our least favorite of the bunch although there was nothing particularly wrong with them— we got ours in cucumber slices — and I think the cucumber slices were a bit big and dominated slightly. I’d get these again but maybe order them on the pitas (I think that was the other option). The nachos were yummy with a tasty corn salsa. We devoured all of our food and left happy and satisfied. We would definitely stop for the food again.
Our server was great in the beginning but near the end of our meal we were waiting a long time for her.
For us, the food was fantastic and outweighed the atmosphere and service hiccups.
If weather permits, try to sit out on the patio that overlooks Riverside Park it’s absolutely delightful. This service was excellent and the food was a smash! We got the Aji tuna bites and the bang bang nachos with a choice of shrimp. And for drinks, we did a Mojito flight that comes with three options of flavors as well as a Moscow mule flight. That also comes with three options of flavors. It was a wonderful evening. Looking forward to my next visit there.
Outstanding!!! Choices, flavors, service brought us back 3 nights in a row while in town. Love this place. Sitting outside or at the bar just a top notch resturant. The Jalapeño martini was second to none. The seared tuna plate very fresh, the chicken bites very very good .... I would highly recommend eating or getting a drink here !!!
A little hard to find since it’s in an office building. Cute views from the patio. Food was unfortunately underwhelming. Had high hopes for this restaurant. Had a mocktail, Cesar salad, ribeye with a blue cheese sauce that basically ruined the steak. It came with over cooked veggies and the fingerling potatoes were okay. Ordered dessert, it was a pre-made/pre-packaged chocolate lava cake. If you weren’t a chocolate lover there were not any options for you. Since all the desserts were made with chocolate. Was hoping for a redemption with dessert.
