The food was amazing. My daughter got the chicken tenders with Mac n cheese, my son got brisket and I got brisket and burnt ends with baked beans and sweet potato. It was all so delicious and cooked very well. The bbq sauce was amazing also. We walked over for lunch from the hotel we were staying at and we were very pleased.
Hickory wood is my favorite wood for smoked BBQ and I appreciate that this venue exceeds my standards! The food really does make me taste the Love and craftsmanship. This is one of the reasons why this venue checks off all the Foodie boxes that are important to me. The patrons are happy and the staff is personable, professional, and friendly. This venue in Baymeadows is very clean, bright, and welcoming. Bravo to these local community heroes!
3 stars for Google means "It's okay", and that's simply my reaction after eating it. What you see in the pictures is my $43 take-out order, which I felt was quite expensive for average tasting bbq. I had ribs, brisket, bbq beans, Mac n cheese, and green beans, I would recommend trying a different BBQ place in the Jacksonville area, I saw there were many when I was searching.
This is our favorite barbecue place in Jacksonville. We go here at least monthly good price, the food is ready as soon as you order, very conveniently laid out so that you can put a lid on your side orders and get your box to go for your leftovers Without having to go back up to the counter. Good sauces, friendly staff., very clean. Really good side orders.
It’s really good for Florida barbecue, I’ve been a number of times, and my favorite is the brisket. My only complaint is the payment system asking for a tip in a cafeteria setting where customers wait on and clean up after themselves. They also don’t accept international credit cards which can be aggravating but the food is delicious.
my husband and i have ordered from this place twice already in less than a week! every single item i have ordered has been a 10/10, the meats are absolutely phenomenal, the sides are delicious (beans are really good) and the bread pudding is to DIE for. oh and don’t forget about the sweet tea too!! my husband really liked the cheese grits they are his favorite! we will definitely be very frequent customers :) prices are also extremely reasonable for a bbq place.
First time here. I had ribs (good and tender), chicken (cooked to perfection. The cole slaw was good as well. Of course, the other sides, collard greens, Mac & Cheese didn't look that great. Overall, if I am on this side of Jacksonville and had a taste for BBQ, maybe I will stop by.
Great food, great service, and the atmosphere was a true bbq feel. Jason the manger came to our table and checked on our food and service great guy and made us feel relaxed about being there. So thank you and we so go again. U must try bread pudding and greens.
