I was there yesterday with friends from work. My first ever at one. Enjoyed the pork dinner plate with okra, mac n cheese, and cornbread.
The sign near the register is a good thought
People are nice, i liked sitting outside during a storm (I didn't have to) The sides tasted straight out of golden corral. I was expecting more of the mac and cheese and slaw. The burnt ends were extremely fatty. Which would be fine if the fat had smoked down, no. I did like the mustard bbq sauce. Definitely not the best in Orlando I was expecting from the rating.
Anyone who thinks this is good barbecue has definitely not traveled the country.
At best, it's a trend. Add religion to a restaurant in Florida and this is what you get. It's a great business plan, but that doesn't equal great food [Chick-fil-A].
There are a multitude of other well-established barbecue places in Florida with better food and better prices.

4 Rivers Smokehouse is SO GOOD - this is absolutely one of the best barbecue places in the whole Orlando area, let alone just Winter Garden. The meat is always extremely juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and you always get a great portion of food for the price! You absolutely need to try their brisket and burnt ends (our favorites) but their sandwiches are unmatched. Literally any sandwich is absolutely heaven here - some of the best sandwiches we’ve had anywhere, period. Be sure to try their cheesy grits, bread pudding, jalapeños and Cole slaw if you’re getting some sides because they are our favorites as well! And you need to try their Cheerwine BBQ sauce!! If they ever have their fried Oreos again, get them for dessert too. I just love this place so much and I know you will too if you love barbecue. Check this place out!!
Tonight we ordered to go the signature brisket sandwich, plus the ribs and sides. The sides were fine. The meat was AWFUL. Only one third of the brisket was even edible. The rest was dry, hard chunks of meat….it was terrible. My sister had the ribs. They were also overcooked and dry and just awful. I will never go there again. Several years ago the meat was wonderful - no more.
I go here quite a bit I usually walk in or at the register. But this is my first time actually using the mobile app or online order application. It was very swift very easy, consumer friendly so when I got there, my order was ready and I didn’t have to wait in any lines when I took it to go. This is a great option. I should’ve been using it sooner..
I was really looking forward to trying this place out and was very underwhelmed by it all. I ordered the Signature Angus Brisket and Southern Pulled Pork. I added the signature BBQ sauce on top. For sides I ordered the Mac & Cheese and Texas Cornbread. The pull pork was tender and tasted good but the brisket was another story. That had to be one of the toughest/driest briskets that I have ever had. I was so disappointed because I love brisket. The Mac and cheese was nothing special and the cornbread was alright, just a note that it had a kick to it.
Overall, the ambiance was chill and I liked that they had a covered outside seating area. The place was also clean, which I appreciated. The personal was kind and helpful, they served our food quickly and immediately cleared our tables when we were done. I also really respected the origin story of the restaurant. Not top notch BBQ but maybe the quick fix that might be needed?
Amazing customer service and friendly employees. Hot meals, fast. Lots of options and delicious barbecue sauces to complement the already flavorful meat! Love the cornbread, nothing bad to say about this place.
