Excellent BBQ! Many choices of meet and sides; table side BBQ sauce in different flavors, good drinks, and bar inside with multiple options. Establishment open with beach vibes and close to many shopping establishments. Definitely a place to try… BTW the Dolly brownie and chocolate “cookie” just made the meal that much better.
Service was excellent and very accommodating. The ribs were excellent as they were juicy and perfectly cooked. Brisket was excellent with just the right amount of fat. Great location and very clean restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and we highly recommend this location.
I hosted a 70th birthday party for my boyfriend at 4Rivers Daytona. What a pleasure it was! From the planning stages to the actual event, they were so accommodating and helpful. This 4Rivers has a room that can be used for a private party and it was perfect. The buffet was delicious and plentiful. My guests raved about all of the dishes. The staff even happily accommodated one friend with celiac. She was thrilled! This 4Rivers also has a bar, with a direct window from the private room. That worked out great and I was able to run a tab for my guests. The 4R specialty bakery did the cake and it was fabulous. I can’t say enough good things about working with 4Rivers Daytona. Jon, Evelyn and Sarah took great care of us!!
Hitting the sale at Bass Pro and smelled bbq in the air! We stopped in for lunch, first time ever at this restaurant. I ordered the bbq melt with burnt ends and 4R bbq beans. WOW, delicious and oversized portions. My friend ordered the three meat combo with Mac and Cheese plus baked cheese grits. It was near the end of the sliced brisket, so he said it was dry and put it on my plate. He could not figure out the baked cheese grits. We are from Florida and like our grits normal Southern style. Didn’t give a lower rating because everything was great! I tried the house sauce and the blackberry bbq sauce. Got packets of both to bring home. Free self serve refills on drinks. The syrup for the root beer ran out on my refill, but I got cheerwine coke and was not disappointed. Fair priced for the amount of food one received. They have a nice bar and an outdoor eating space when it cools off a bit. Will eat there again. Florida Man Approved!
I’ve dined at Four Rivers Barbecue numerous times before, but this was my first visit to the Daytona Beach location. I had the chicken brisket with mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole. The chicken brisket had a bit of a kick, which I enjoyed despite it being a little spicy for my taste. The mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful, while the sweet potato casserole was a comforting side that complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, the portions were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. The Daytona Beach location lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from Four Rivers Barbecue. Highly recommend!
Nice and big place, self service. Walk to the order line and get your order fast. They were helpful and friendly. I even got to try a piece before ordering my complete meal. Need more selection of sauces. All the expected bbq and fixings are there, simple enough.
Wow, was I disappointed. Back in the day, the Seminole County Fire Dept. used to hype this place up. I was so excited to try it with my husband. It was gross! Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, Mac n cheese, and a drink. This sandwich was so greasy and full of big chunks of fat. The bun was soggy and gross. There was no sauce on it and I had to add it myself. The only 2 sauce types are Signature and Hot. Definitely didn't want hot so got stuck with the other one that tasted like mustard. Yuck! Asked for cheese to be added to my sandwich and they put shredded cold chees e all over it and all over the plate as you can see from my photos. My husband's sandwich was supposed to have onions, but for some reason did not. We paid $30 for this astrocity. Seems like they sold out for the tourist scene. Disgusting. No desire to come here again.
Decent BBQ. No complaints. Consistent to what I had in Jacksonville. This location is larger, newer, and cleaner.
