The food and the service were awesome staff helped me to my table with all the trays. Moreover, when I was outside eating a guy named Trent informed me about the gift card option. If you buy a $100 dollar gift card, you receive $5 dollars. Also, 4 Rivers have a rewards program unfortunately I wasn't informed by staff FYI for big families. The parking lot is pretty full due to the gym being next door. However, the food and service are worth the wait. We tipped staff the $6 dollars.

Going with 4 stars as 3 would be a bit unfair. Basic fast-food BBQ - Good, but nothing special. Large, open dining area with plenty of seating inside and out with the typical western theming. They have a decent variety of BBQ items on their menu including some desserts and very limited alcoholic beverages. I had the Brisket sandwich (moist): very tender, but lacked flavor without sauce. They have their ‘Signature’ - mild with a bit of a tang and a ‘Hot’ that has more tang, but not hot by any means. Not sure if the plain is by choice or is it just their technique. Same went for the collard greens. Cooked fine, but again plain. I added salt. I also had a Dolly bar. This was actually really good. One thing I thought was a nice touch was the hand washing basin located near the soda/condiment station. Note: If your picking up ‘to go’ its on the outside to the right.
Hubby and I were looking for a good BBQ joint after Fun Spot and decided to come here based off reviews and photos. When we got there, wasn't sure what to order but ended up ordering some ribs with collard greens and corn bread.
I will say it was the best tasting ribs I've ever had from a restaurant! I typically don't eat at BBQ restaurants because I've never eaten at one that's satisfied my appetite. Their hot bbq sauce was on point! Didn't care much for the sides though.
I would definitely visit this restaurant again whenever I'm in the area and in the mood for BBQ and order the ribs! Wish they had better variety of sides.
Chose 4Rivers for dinner to feed our family of 17 on vacation in Orlando. The total cost was $175 which was very cost-effective for a fresh BBQ dinner for such a large party.
The Burnt Ends were absolutely delicious, perfectly charred and full of flavor. I was advised to order the Brisket "Mixed" which combines lean cuts with fatty ones for variety (THIS WAS KEY FOR ME, as the last time I had the Brisket I found it to be dry). The "Mixed Brisket" was wonderfully moist and juicy with delcious fat caps around the edges. The pulled pork we ordered for the kids but I tried it. It wasn't dry at all and the meat was soft and tender, it wasn't my favorite by far, but the kids really enjoyed it.
The jalapeño cornbread was a big hit, dense yet still fluffy with the hint of jalapeño flavor coning through. It does have actual jalapeño slices in certain pieces. The macaroni wasn't very impressive. I would describe it as creamy but slightly lacking in flavor. Great for the kids though.
An amazing place to eat, possibly one of the best smokehouse in the Orlando area…. The Hot BBQ sauce is a must have, with any meal. You have to try the Burnt Ends highly recommended. Enjoy!!
Love the quality and portion of food at 4 Rivers. I order from here quite often and I'm a huge fan of their holiday catering. The smoked prime ribs from the holiday menu is absolutely wonderful!
I had their farmhouse salad with pulled chicken a side of the sweet potato casserole and the Texas sheet cake and loved everything. Food was delicious and fresh! Will come back!
Here is what I will say. When 4Rs first opened - wow- what a gem- amazing food, quality, good portions, extremely friendly and service oriented staff, lines out the door, closed on Sundays and Christian music always playing. Fast forward to years of success, multiple locations and things are slipping. We are there tonight- arrived at 8:30- and wasn’t greeted by anyone friendly…. We were told twice they were “closing”- so that we knew- we asked what time and was told 9. We literally ate and walked out the door at 9:02. They had turned off the soda fountains, poured all the tea away (when I asked if they had tea behind the counter, the manager literally replied, we are closing so I dumped it out), didn’t have certain items- actually just didn’t want to “make them”, sides felt like they had been sitting there all day- and I felt like we were bothering them by coming in. Then- instead of even hearing Christmas music- tis the season- it was definitely rock songs of today. Familiar signs were down, food was average/ portions are smaller, prices are high and it has lost its luster. And now that it is open on Sundays- just don’t think we will go out of our way to eat here anymore. Makes me sad.
